So for those of you who have been thru this before like we have.
Sassy is now on liquid morphine. She can open her eyes at times and you can kinda hear... Kids are doing ok and we have been sitting with her. But I fear the end of her suffering is near.....

Hey there thinking of Sassy and family. She has always been super nice and kind to me even when I probably did not deserve it. Hope she is not in too much pain.

Me and Peter were standing around talking the other night and this conversation came up. You can prepare for what is going to happen, but you can't prepare how its going to affect you...

All I know is that the whole experience is a rollercoaster of emotions when it involves family or close friends. I suspect that you and your children are strong-minded because Sassy sure is.

So she has been pretty unresponsive the last 2 days. Once in a while you her eyes will crack open but I am hopeful she is hearing everything. Somebody had sent me a letter that I printed and read for her and thank you for the voicemails. Thank you.

I'm glad she got to hear my voice. And I know you're all talking to her. She's loved and she knows it. It sounds awful but I hope she slips away now and rests. She's put up one hell of a fight mate. And all of you have too.
