But finally Gustav VI said "There is one thing that is much better here in Denmark" Fredrik IX smiled from ear to ear and said "Finally! I told you that Denmark has something that is better than Sweden! What is it?"
Gustav VI smiled and answered "The beautiful view over the Swedish coastline."

I know the theme is more wintry right now but I hope you don’t mine me sharing this.

I took the photo in July this year but it was about 5 C at this elevation, so it kind of counts as winter .

This was in the Canadian Rockies, at a ski resort (in the winter) called Sunshine Village. I’ve travelled and lived in many places (Hawaii, Malta, Greece, Switzerland, Germany), and this view is unmatched for me. This is where my soul will go. It was quiet, majestic, and….moving.

I have to say many of the photos of Denmark and area that are shared here are gorgeous. There are amazing photographers here.

Sorry but my pic was only taken with a phone lol, I have a short vid but the file is too big.

The best camera, is the one you are using!

It is not the camera that makes a picture great, sure.. a good camera can add a lot of details.
But it is the photographer who frames the picture, chooses the angle, decides the moment to capture the picture.

Still you are right, I love seeing all of pictures, that you guys share here!! They tell amazing stories without words.

They are!! I love running around Søerne (does it get much more Copenhagen'ish than that?.. )

It is cold though, we did not reach above 0°C today, and YK says that we should not expect to do so, at least not for the next 10 days.

I just got back from a week in Spain yesterday, so I'll have to dress warm the next days when I'm out in the city working. But I'll admit that winter can be very nice an as well. I love it when it's freezing and the sun is shining from a blue sky, it just feels so fresh being out and about then.

I can understand why you like it! It's one of my favorite places in Copenhagen.

We neither. I've spend the day between changing the clothes to warmer in the daly wardrobe and searching for winter tires. And I've found some good tires that I will pick up on Wednesday.

I both do and don't. I love days like this when I have clothes enough to keep the cold away from my body and I know that there is a warm home waiting for me with good food and drinks. But most of the winter is dark, cold, windy and rainy and I don't want to get out of my bed! I just want to stay under the duved and cuddle all day!
I am more of a spring/summer person.

So last week in Spain, I had one day where it was cloudy where I stayed (it's between the ocean and some mountains), but as soon as I drove into the country on the other side of the mountains it was sunny.

In the evening there was only cloudy up to a certain height, and it was very special to be able to look down on it from where I stayed

I just feel that there are absolutely amazing photographers here so I almost feel that i am cheating by using a phone lol

But as you and I discussed Cat phones are so versatile and portable, and photo quality is quite good, it might be the way to go.

Thank you! Yeah it was a bit chilly to get back home.

And yes I had a great week! Lovely weather and from mid morning it was warm enough to only wear shorts and t-shirt

It was a bit on a spur decision to go, it was only decided 3 weeks before I went. I had been there about 2 months ago, and it did me so good to have 2 weeks away then.

Today it's beautiful sunny here and minus 5, so it'll be a brisk day to get out in later today.
