It is good! I was hesitant to start with but the characters are well written, sufficient nods to events in TOS to make it feel like it’s faithful but still striking out on its own … oh … and the ship!

A few I watched recently:

The Last of Us- kinda had my fill of post-apocalypse material (feels like we just lived some of it), but this is really well done character-based stuff

Perry Mason- season one was so great. Looking forward to season two

Yellowjackets- I went in blind, knowing next to nothing about it. That shit got CRAZY. Very well done.
