👀 What are you watching on ______ (Netflix/HBO Max/Hulu/etc.) 📺💻

Just finished the series finale of Queen of the South on Netflix. What a ride!

Watched “All Quiet On The Western Front” last night.

While the dubbing was very good I’d still prefer to watch the original German with subtitles. HBO occasionally does that.

Just finished The Empress. 20 years ago I wouldn't have needed subtitles at all. 10 years ago they would've been helpful, but probably not necessary. Now I not only need them, but I got excited whenever a word or phrase I recognized popped out. I don't think I have a second language anymore.

I don't really watch a whole lot of tv anymore but I'm watching "Lucifer" on Netflix. I guess I was looking for something similar to Supernatural.
That’s the opposite way I did it - finished Lucifer & was looking for something similar so I started Supernatural. But unfortunately I’m too much of a wimp for Supernatural 😂 Might try Good Omens instead.

See how they run on HBO max. It's a pretty fun whodunit. Also Sam Rockwell is one of the only American actors that makes me feel all tingly lol.

Any recommendations for good, undramatic reality shows on Prime specifically (similar to the British Baking Show - informative with some cheeky humor but no interpersonal drama)? Or non-reality shows that I don’t have to give full attention to.

I need something I can binge while doing other chores and don’t have access to Netflix on this TV.

Roku has a bunch of early 2000’s shows with multiple seasons like Cold case files as a example that are done in the MTV style of music video flash backs of the crimes and solving it. If you like that sorta Television.

There's always Hell's Kitchen or Ghost Adventures. Just good enough to listen to but not boring. And there are a lot of seasons
Hmmm… is Hell’s Kitchen the one where the main chef yells at and insults everyone? Thanks, but I need something more peaceful 😂

Ghost Adventures would be great if I weren’t such a wimp! 😳

Just finished “A Friend of the Family” on Peacock. I had listened to podcast episodes on this case and found it shocking then. Watching the series, my jaw just dropped at the naïveté of the family. I know if was a different time, but I’m still so surprised most of this was able to happen. They were so trusting and blind.
