🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

Nice to see this thread is still around. :)

Had a good couple weeks getting back to it. Yoga and walking. School and work, both full time, have been kicking my ass, and I've paid for it. But I've been trying to work good habits back in. One step at a time. 🤟😎❤️

I’ve still been going to the gym daily.
This morning I walked the kid to school and it was so windy.
Went to the gym but had a migraine so was only on the elliptical for 20 minutes.
Went back this evening for 40 minutes on the treadmill.
Awesome! Killed some upper power class yesterday. Lower strength, today. Going for that baby-giraffe-leg feel. Lol.

Life has been hectic lately. Work, family, etc.
However, I'm still getting my exercise in.
I hit the bike for a nice 20 minute ride first thing this AM. After my next two calls, I'll get to the gym at lunch and lift. Chest, Triceps and shoulders today. May even try and hit some additional cardio today for another 10-20 minutes if time allows.
Breaking it up is better than not doing it all because of time issues.

Messed up my back last week and just getting back in schedule. Feels good and back seems ok.

I missed yesterday due to an early work day, but making it up right now. Elliptical today.

Rowing and upper body tomrrow.

Splitting firewood Saturday and Sunday.

40 minutes on the elliptical this morning.

I’ll go back for my 1-hour walk at the exact time the 5k will start next week. I need to do this outside if the weather will start cooperating.

Yoga on my new mat tonight with both my kids. I taught one crow, and they showed me up with mermaid. They're so bendy!
Omg that's adorable. 😄

Been a good last couple weeks with walking and eating a little better. Did some yoga too. I'm getting my walking legs back which is awesome. 🤟😎❤️

Need to up the intensity of my workouts. Knee won’t let me run and it’s still too cold for biking. Elliptical has been good.

I’ve recently found Orange Theory and am really liking it. Granted I am only going once a week (it’s EXPENSIVE!) but am able to do an entire class without having to stop. I like the workouts a lot as they are different each day and the hour goes pretty quick. Hoping to work up to twice a week soon.

Wrapped up my last arm workout before taking the month off. Finished strong and my body is looking really good. I can't wait to get back into it next month to add any lost muscle, and then trim the fat for summer 😎

Hello Sweaters -

I didn’t realize that my threads would disappear when I left. I’m really sorry that all of our posts are gone. But never fear, hopefully we can revive what we had in the other threads in this one.

So, where are you on your fitness journey?

I am sort of taking stock of where I am now, and where I want to be so that I can make a clear goal. My vague goals are to: build strength, tone, and find something that I enjoy doing on a regular basis. I feel like I’m starting from square 1 after these last couple of crazy years. So it’s time to

Grab your workout partner, or if you don’t have one just hang out with us in here and we can do this together. Or maybe it’ll just be me in here talking to myself which would be ok too.

What are you going to do TODAY? Are you already in a routine that you like? Are you taking that first step? What’s your fitness status update?

I've been training hard this year, I'm 59 and still in good shape, thank God.

I still feel like I'm still only 30.

Here's to the next 20 year

Getting tired of being injured from one little thing or another, I'm taking @AveryElle's advice and focusing just on actually getting a good workout in regularly, rather than aiming for end goals.
I'm finally feeling good again after several months of start-injury-start-injury, and this time I'm just building up slowly, rather than chasing numbers.

Today saw some burpees, planks, and some cycling. I enjoyed it.

Never follow my advice.

lifting finally feels right today. For maybe two weeks it’s been meh but today I’m feeling much tighter while working out. I’m not sure what was off for those two weeks. Maybe focus?

After two months of consistent working out and doing better with what I was eating, I’ve been in a rut here recently. I need to get back on track.

Jumped on the scale after vacation….
time to get back into the daily bike rides + weights
