🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

Last night I played Volleyball for the first time in 20 years. Women’s league through the parks department.

I need a lot of practice. It’s hard to play after my normal bedtime. And my body is so different after children. I had to double up a regular bra with a sports bra to stop the Mom boobs from flinging around.

I've done yoga with Adrienne and I like her but it's a little too mellow for me and I think she talks too much lol. Different strokes, I know. I'm really happy that her channel has taken off and she's doing so well. She is growing quite a following!
We like her. I’m a newbie to yoga so barely know warrior 1 from warrior 2, but it’s fairly simple for someone like me who is 55 and just getting into it.

I like her old dog who just sits there! 😂

I've had a crush on Adrienne for years
She is not rough on the eyes! Even my wife likes to look at her.

I’ve been bad and not done any yoga for a week and a half. Even my elliptical and treadmill have been bothering my back.

My SI joints have really been messed up the last few weeks, so going super low impact. Maybe yoga would actually help me a bit…

Hitting the gym.
After 4 weeks of lifting. I’ve kinda hit a plateau. I can’t drop weight. I’m in a calorie deficit weekly by a lot.
For the next 3-4 weeks I’m going to focus on heavy cardio 40-60 minute sessions and light lifting (circuit training). See how that goes.
Not going to lie, very frustrated by the lack of weight loss. Also going to go stricter on my diet.

I hit the gym hard this morning.
a 15 minute warmup on the bike followed by Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, and Core. Back at it hard until Easter. The goal is 7-10 lbs by then.
Also, watching and measuring out ounces of food.

Been getting in walks and a little yoga regularly for about the last month. Definitely feeling good. Got a ways to go but I'm moving again which is good.

Have you tried the 12-3-30? People say it's legit, especially if you tweak it. You seem to like cardio, so it could work to your favor if you haven't tried it already. GL!

About to hop on the cycle today. My wife asked me to wait until our kid is 1 month old before I start going to the gym, just to give him time to build his immune system. I'm extra pumped to return because my bestfriend joined my gym and it would be nice to catch a few workouts with him

I didn't sweat per se, but I walked over 5 miles a day in Boston. One day I logged over 15,000 steps with over 12K the next day. Not my best, but far from my worst. Hoping to stay in the habit of at least 10,000 steps a day

I sabotage my efforts with drinking. I'm working on it. I have the best intentions for the week, but -- like last night, where I had too much -- my body and head aren't willing to move the next morning.

I got two bike commutes in this week and a couple of decent mountain bike rides, so there's goodness in that! I did get to see an ortho this week about my knee. Unfortunately it was a military ortho so they refused to do an MRI and basically went with the standard, drink water take motrin that is a military doctor's go to solution for any ortho issue the first time you're seen. I'll give it another month and book another appointment, hopefully they'll let me see my civilian ortho this time.

I hired a new trainer. I’d like to lose some fat and gain some muscle back and then try some body building. This man is no joke lol. My first super set was handstands and chin ups but the killer move was the slider push ups. Who the hell came up with that?! But I did it!! Didn’t even cry til I was driving home lol.

Good for you Chilly. You look fantastic but I’m happy you are chasing goals. The confidence and self esteem these workouts will give you will be well worth the pain.

Nice! One thing I loved about living in Boston is that I did A TON of walking. Often in Doc Martens, which isn't the best. But still!

Also, feel free to tag me in all ass photos….no good reason other than I’m a perv that loves asses.🤷‍♂️

1.5 months away from the gym but the wife cleared me to go back yesterday. Got my chest workout in and it felt amazing! Dropped a bit on my bench press, but happy that it wasn't too much :3

Got in a couple rides this week, the rest of the week not very nice weather.

Way to go, trying to get more regular here on sweating too, after six weeks of lax behavior. Spring’s return can be motivating.
