25 reasons to vote Democrat

Weevil said:
The question was a diversion. The issue was whether or not you should vote for Democrats, not what I personally would do in Iraq.
Re-read it and noticed my mistake, understood this time.

While what to do in Iraq is an interesting question, it's a diversion. The people responsible for that fiasco have displayed such a stunning level of incompetence that they deserve to lose their jobs on the staggering incompetence displayed alone..

Has incompitance been displayed? Of course it has! Rummy should be fired and the troops in Iraq increased to maximum possible levels.

A diversion? You just insulted every drop of blood shed there.

Read the above post, fucktard.

That’s always the Bush argument, “hey, were there, you know, sorry”. At 2 billion a month, why can’t Bush sit back and get some real solutions to this. I question the leadership, I say bounce Rumsfeld out as soon as possible. Do something, either provide more soldiers or cut and run.

Agreed. But not to cut and run. There is sooooo much to lose. Finish the job now and quit fucking around.

So, out of curiousity...why is it wrong for public schools to have endless money? I'd think even republicans would want everyone to have a good education.
C'mon KR, You know that the quantity of the money spent is inversely proportional to the quality of education received.

More vulgarity. Can you answer a question without calling me a name?

You never answered my question. If you were standing in front of me you would not insult me so glibly, because I would have already knocked on your prissy little ass. Hide behind your keyboard and cast dispersions without substance.

We see you for what you are.

Both parties want more government. The Republicans are lying when they say they want less than what we have now. They all want more government because they are in the government business.
Well, that is hard to argue with if by both parties you mean those who are elected (or trying to be) or working for the government. I don't see a lot of do-away-with-my-job-to-save-you-money altruism out there.

John and Jill Q. Voter do believe in smaller government though. But if you dig hard enough you often find that they don't want the particular programs that benefit them cut, just everyone else's. I had a long discussion about this with my Mother (a staunch Republican) shortly after Katrina hit. She felt that rebuilding the levees should in no way be funded by the Feds but protecting the beaches of North Carolina - that was another matter entirely.

You obviously have me mistaken for someone who would waste his time engaging in a debate with a retarded wannabe internet tough guy.

Hell, I'd like to see how many public schools actually have field houses. Never seen one myself.
Not sure what a country club membership has to do with anything unless it's a case where actual tax dollars meant for the school were used and if that's the case then it's only an issue if the superintendant still has his job.
I also think that saying our education system has collapsed is pretty stupid. As is saying that more money wouldn't help. It most certainly would help.
You're just an idiot republican looking for a reason to exist.

And more intelligent responses. You were doing so well too.

And yet you continue to post.

What is there to lose aside from a decline in casket sales?

"Staying the course" is horseshit. Bush should have the balls to get all the experts together from all sides and revamp the plan. Invite:

all living ex-presidents, all living sec of state, sec of defense. Spend the weekend at Camp David with a press blackout. If this is really a "bi-partisan" issue then invite all sides and for God's sake

LISTEN!

The course sucks. However leaving would do several things. Prove to the world that we are completely untrustworthy and vunerable to the type of defense that defeated us in Vietnam and Somalia. That would in turn encourage our enemies to engage us more, on our own soil again. Not to mention John Q Iraqi who would again be subject to whichever tyrant takes over after we leave.

Screw the course. Plot a new one, more troops. More intesity, faster completion of mission.

You live up to your handle. Insults without substance. Ever heard of Bully Brooks? A lesson for you sir.

Which would be an acknowledgement of the truth, which as we can all plainly see, you're vehemently opposed to.

I sure didn't expect the list in the opening post to cause such a stir. But then again I've never been a member of any political party. Nor do I take either party's platform to be written in stone, it's folly for the late night shows.

Damnewc, even if you did mean the list as a conversation starter, I still see the humor in it... today I see that as an accomplishment. Getting thru the election season with humor isn't always easy.

Thank you dear. I myself am having a real good time.

So why should we continue to be so weak? Why should we not stand up, meet our commitments and stop allowing cowards who bomb children to push us around?

For peace? There is no peace they want us all dead.

Go ahead, call me a name. It is your turn to respond.

Bush?

Weevil said:

Oh yes, the evil Bush. Right up there with Bin Laden, Arafet, Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot.

Evil Bush.

Please. Bin Laden jerks off while fantasizing about doing as much damage to the United States as Bush is doing.

Oh, so the President is effective at killing our enemies and breaking there things?

All this time you had me convinced he was a failure at making war.

Thank you! You have changed my mind!

Shockingly enough, I'm not terribly surprised that you're not much of a reader.
