If we aren't going to own state sponsored executions and start dragging them out of the court, wasting them in the street for pure shock value and charging the family for the bullet we need to not do the whole execution bit. I'm just a strong believer that when people point out how expensive the death penalty is because of the multiple appeals and additional investigations that go into it I wonder why we don't do this for people who are in for life. I think that's utter horseshit.
