Crim, I just thought of one reason why some new people seems to be ushered in to this place more than others. I've seen this and I know exactly what you are talking about. There have been a few new posters the last few months that have joined the clique or not-clique whatever it is that we have here.

I think the reason is pretty simple. They plunge into it head first. And post like dammit. Say hello to everyone. Answer to every thread. Start a few of their own. Flirt, banter and disuss in equal amounts. A lot.

I'm not complaining about those people (you know who you are). I rather like them. I'm just saying that there is not really a clique per se, but a bunch of people who actually know each other, although they have never met face to face. I have befriended a handful of the people here, but I am constantly amazed at how fast they, and other new faces (or whatever hey put in their AVs) seem to get personal with each other. That's until I start looking at how much time they spend here.

It's easy to form connections with people who pings the world every fifth second, as opposed to those who I might have an exchange with every other week.

Ok, that's all from me, back to my antisocial studies.
