Yeah cliques. Right. The place is full of 'em, always has been always will be, such is life. I'd really really like to see the list Trinique, and who is in which clique.

Someone did that about a year ago, it was very interesting reading, similar thread.

The main reason that I can determine as to why Scheher doesn't feel as though she is in a clique is that she isn't allowed because she's Welsh (same applies to Snoops)

Crim - I'm pretty certain you've been around as long as I have, just not in terms of actual time.

I can see that it's very disheartening to not have replies to posts (actually happens to me too, however unbelievable that sounds)
That's one of the only reasons I post to any topic, to be replied to in whatever manner. I'm pretty certain that that's why anyone posts. So like every one says post as often as possible or address someone specifically. Don't be a "Yes Ma'am"

PMs. I actually receive very few and I've only ever once been told my box is full, because I save about half of what I receive so that's not many over 2 years. Unlike certain people who are asked to clear their boxes every half hour. But then, I don't spend all my waking hours texting people either. No accusations there folks about childish behaviour or backstabbing or ganging up or anything, honest.

Way back when I actually started a thread for cliquers, tongue in cheek open backstabbing, moaning and whingeing and encouraging secret PMs. Those who 'got it' entered into it with ghusto, there were a lot more, at that time, that didn't join in for whatever reasons which I took to be that it was beneath them or for 'my' clique only. You can't please everyone. Most of the time, you can't please anyone.

Note of caution: The "Anyone for Cliques" thread actually hurt a couple of people that I know about, maybe more. I won't be doing it again.

Yep, you started that thread just after I joined, and I hurled myself into it. It's the thread that "broke me in" here, actually. I was then accepted into that particular clique. So it's all your fault.

The Fool got very nasty to me in that thread, and, once I realised what the fuck was actually going on, I gave back as good as I got. Bless him, he kept PMing me, saying, "I don't mean it! It's just a bit of fun!" I knew that.

Fuck knows how many cliques I belong to now. Seem to have my own private one with just one other sometimes. Funny how nobody else ever wants to join in those conversations.

Anyway, good post, Gauche. And, yeah, that other clique thread about year ago (actually, the one I'm thinking of was longer ago than that) is rather embarrassing, considering who started that thread. (No, to others: it wasn't me). I think you know what I mean, Gauche.

The AH strikes me as a clique. Go back to high school, junior high even, and then look here to the AH. Little groups are formed. And it seems to me that there are people favored and placed on a pedestal. And those who are weaker, they are ignored by others.

Hey you think this place is bad, Jesus you want to try some, I've just been posting on a UK based swingers site, (under an assumed name), never met such an unfriendly bunch so far up the arses of all the other regulars in all my life... Seems you need 100 posts to be counted as a human being... at least most of the crew have aknowledged your post here, the mods would probably have removed it over there as a non clique thread.

Stay a while and enjoy the banter, post as you will, someone will eventually talk to you in a nice thread as well as here.
