Try GIMP. It was what I used to make my sketch.

I'm using MS Paint for my map.

Yeah, the thermal vision is a bit much, but we also have to keep in mind that Wolfsister character is supposedly (OOC, of course) a heavenly being, i.e. not of this world, like an angel or demon.

I mean the PC is a little off from the set. A good post but a bad entry to the action.

And an angel/demon? I remember QM saying she did not wanted such characters. And even so, when earth bound such entities lose capabilities. An ultra vision would be one...

Oh...you mean there was a little misinterpretation that went into Wolfsister's post (no accusation, of course), as if the situation was misread?

As for the angel/demon thing, that is the impression I got with Wolfsister not putting up a bio and all that.

Darn it...the map is too big to attach to the post. I'll have to redo it. And it was so good too...

You're using windows, right?

Get a small api from microsoft called image resizer. It can squeeze down a picture to more usable vaues. Grey/B&W can also help.

But you windows user never learn...

I was a full-blooded windows user for several years. I even use it today, at work.
But I personally prefer Linux. Mac is just too much user friendly. Unix, never used.

And I don't get my finger up windows users noses. But it is fun to sit back and watch the new vista get in the way of its users...
Well, enough of sad things.

But I personally prefer Linux. Mac is just too much user friendly. Unix, never used.

I used a different program that could resize. It worked, obviously.

If this map I just put up is exactly what you had pictured in your mind, then why didn't your map reflect that?

I did mine under almost the same conditions. I'm in bed, my laptop is sitting just off to my right on a briefcase, I used the touchpad, and it is after midnight here and I've been up since 6 am.

You know, I'm getting the urge to point out the differences between our maps, but I'm resisting. I've been chastised for correcting people, so I'm working on that.

Well, Wolfsister's post opened up a whole bag full of questions, which Qyron and I are trying to resolve at the moment without aid from Wolfsister. The questions I have for you still exist: does that shield prevent people from getting close or just attacks? What's its radius from Karesh?

Wolfsister put a lot of work into that post; too much work, in fact, to have it blantantly ignored. I could probably get away with it because my character is sorta not looking that direction and therefore would not see the old lady, nor would he hear her (although he should). But Nayil has no excuse for ignoring the old lady; he's the closest, and plainly within ear shot.

Plus, it would be easier on me to not alter what I have written and just post it. It would have in fact been up the other night, before Wolfsister's post, had someone been online to answer one or two questions for me.

I say yay, but feel a little guilty for ignoring Wolfsister's hard work. Sorry, Wolfsister.
