Aine - A New RP Thread (OOC)

Beats me. I've decided to give QM as MIA. Kalika is probably busy. Or fighting a croc.

Yeah, I agree on both counts, except for the croc.

I'll give QM until my character arrive in the village before I ask Wolfsister to take over. If QM shows up before then, then all's good, as long as she gives a damned good reason for bailing. If QM shows up afterward, and she wants the story back, I'm all for handing back over to her.

I don't need a reason for she not being here; if she is not, its because she as a reason for it.

Regarding the thread, the thing needs to keep going or I risk shooting myself out of boredom.

Well, I prefer it if I knew why someone had disappeared. They could very easily be lying, but with at least there's a reason for me to not chew them out. And given the length of time QM has been gone, it had better be something good.

Well, if Kalika were to post, I'm sure Karesh and the elf would reach the village in that post, and that would be the deadline I had just set for asking Wolfsister to take over.

This thread hasn't died yet, Satin.

Ehhh....just feels like I can't go anywhere with it. Maybe I should be more specific and say I wish I hadn't have put this sort of character in when the person I was depending for half of my story vanished.

How were we supposed to know that QM would vanish on us? It's not like she gave us any sort of heads up like "Hey guys, I'm going on vacation for a month," or "Sorry people, I'm going to be going somewhere where there the Interent doesn't exist."

Hey, relax that attitude, gov'ner. I nowhere near blamed you or anyone here for the thread's molasses state. Geeze, go take a nap.

You are always so cranky when I talk to you.

That was sarcasm, wasn't it?

And for the record, I'm rarely cranky. I get worked up or excited on occasion, but rarely cranky. When I'm cranky, you'll know it. ;)

As for what I had said, the "we" was all-inclusive.

No, it wasn't sarcasm. I am VERY rarely sarcastic.

Including the big man you so truly enjoy to see pissed off?:D

Well, if we are to keep this thing alive, then it is time to make some sort of resolution. I'm starting to grow bored on this.

Yeah, it included him.

As for the resolution, I believe I had just made one: wait until Karesh and the elf get to the village, and if QM hasn't show up by then, ask Wolfsister to take over the next she is online.

Some day you'll have to explain me what drives you to enjoy seeing the big man worked up. I thing you just enjoy the idea of seeing him wreak havoc.

I haven't seen wolfsister around for quite some time also. I hope she hasn't fall ill again.

It's hilarious to see someone be pushed to the limit and beyond. And what's funny about that is their reactions to being pushed around. Then there's the destruction as well, along with some chaos. All good. Especially when you've got someone right there in the middle of all that destruction and chaos, just sitting drinking a cup of tea and reading the paper, totally oblivious.

As for Wolfsister, she disappears for a few days at a time, which alright because she unfortunately has a history of illness, and a busy life. Therefore, her absense is tolerated, knowing that she'll be back soon.

And now that just made me feel really old. I think I'm the oldest person hanging around these parts.

Congratulations, satin.:rose:

You probably are, Qyron. She's older than I am. I'm probably the youngest in this thread.

Somehow, I can picture you or that elf of yours just sitting, calmly enjoying a cup of coffee while the entire place around you gets taken down by an angry big man brawling around with 5 or 6 other gents, dodging the eventual chair or table flying over your head.

You're a very disturbing person.:D

The elf would probably go sit up on a wall or in the rafters, or simply blend in with a wall. Me, I would definitely get the hell out of there.

But yes, that is a very funny situation. Then throw in that the cup is broken by one of the combatants, which gets the elf's attention, in an extremely bad way. The elf then proceeds to lay down the law, and just owns everyone. And to add onto the hilarity, the elf happens to be rather frail and has an arm in a sling. :D Funny stuff!
