in fact, im having a house party this evening, to celebrate my homeboy's 20th birthday (they grow up so fast) and the return of my brother from nevada

Apologies for not being on last night, but my cable company was doing some upgrading in my area, and as such, I had no Internet.

I wish. 12 hours weren't enough. I would gladly go back to bed this instant.

I upgraded the idea. I decided to make it a two fold: a king that is a vassal of another kingdom has his lands invaded by foreign enemies while he is fighting a war that does not concerns him directly. Then, when the man acknowledges the situation back in his homeland and ask for aid to the allies he is shunned and as to turn to some less "elegant" helping hands to get his land back.

Eventually, during the take back of the kingdom, the invaders flee but taking many people as slaves, including the king's children. Without the aid of his allies he will be once again forced to seek other kind help, but this time he will have to stay behind and trust that those who he has sent to retrieve the captives will actually bring them back.

But this is the kind of story that, to be interesting, it takes a lot of people and I know I can get easily confused handling so much people. At least it can satisfy a wide range of interests, as it will have a part turned to open combat and a part more turned to the cloak and dagger part.

And it can have a third part, with the king turning against his allies.

Having the king turn against his allies is going a bit far, don't you think?

I tend to go extreme. But why not? The man is fighting someone else war, when he gets troubles in his own home nobody steps forward to aid him... In his shoes, I would turn on my so called allies.

Well, "turn against" is a bit strong. Why not just say that he switches to be neutral, so that he no longer has to fight for them.

Well, I can compromise on this: I'll post the OOC tomorrow (I'll make an effort to post it today until the end of the day) and then you can drop your two cents on if the choice to be neutral or turn against is the more advantageous.

At the moment I'm just too wrapped up in other situations - personal and professional - to simply have the chance to put together anything decent to whatever story/project I'm in. Since you gave me time, wolfsister, I simply relaxed on the deadline for posting. But I'm not dropping it; this as been a place were I've been getting hints to several other projects I have, so I'm not just let go of this opportunity: I'm simply very tired and no mind to put 2 and 2 together when writing.

About my own project, as you once mentioned, I don't like to leave details by themselves. I used this OOC to swap some ideas around but that was just it. I'm not going to release it until I'm satisfied the opening guide lines - and I'm not even near of being like so.

I'll make my best efforts to post ASAP on the IC.
