Anyone from NY state?

Supposed to get some more snow tonight - lots more on the Tug Hill. Luckily I am to the west of the plateau - but there are still patches of white here and there.

No snow from the supposed Nor'easter yet! Only rain where I am... and I'm WAY excited about that!

Rain here as well - and it is bitter cold. As for snow in May - it's happened before!

Thanks!! I try. But let's be honest, it's mid-flippen-April

Not a good day for either of us. The rain has stopped here for right now but it is damp and cold and my knees are complaining bitterly. That's what happens when you get old - and have fallen off of too many horses when you were younger.

Not sure if the predicted snow will come or not - do hope not because my garage roof was supposed to collapse this winter from the snow weight - and it hasn;t - yet.

I just do NOT wanna shovel anymore this year. Snowing on my grill as we speak. It's time for all of us to get outside.

I was out earlier - to the grocery. So glad they have the motorized riding scooters. The last time I tried to walk around in the store, I ended up passed out on the floor. So they would rather I use the carts. But it was so cold! I pittied the people out with the benefit chicken BBQ today. At least the bake sale and 50/50 raffle were on the covered walkway (both for benefit of the local Lacrosse boys high school team) But it was COLD! (I know I already said that) I did manage to get all the groceries into the house and haven't opened the door since. It is so COLD. (Yes, that's 3 times). So if you want to go outside 0 go ahead. I'll watch from the window. LOL

SNOW DAY!! I didn't think it could happen once one graduated from high school, but my boss called at 7:30 this morning and gave me the best news I've had in days- NO WORK TODAY! YAY!!!

I certainly could've done without this today.....kids have already been home for a week

 All colleges and schools are closed today, it is 34 Deg. F. with high wind gusts in April.

Mother nature is having cramps.

Snow day for me as well. Drive isn't cleared - and not sure if I could blast my way through what the town plows have built up at the end - so I am staying home. Physical Therapy up and running when I talked to them - letting them know I wouldn't be there - so they wouldn't worry. Months ago, they insisted I give their number to my employer (in Buffalo) - in case my files aren't in first thing in the morning - and I can't be contacted - PT people would be called and would come to check.

Nice backup for somewho is disabled and living alone. But that's the kind of people they are at PT.

Yes, my layers are getting lighter as well here in northern New York. Beautiful sunshine. Daffodils, hyacinths out, peonies coming up as well. Seedlings started inside. Can;t wait to get dirt under my nails.
