Are big breasts so bad?

I just reccently bought bras and panties from Lane Bryant and
The Avenue. They both rock! I'm a 48DDD and was able to find
great bras in both stores. I have always hated underwires, but
these are very comfortable and oh so sexy. They had a killer sale
going on so they were incredibly cheap as well.

I agree! The bra sale is happening right now, and the deals are
awesome if one receives LB coupons in the mail!

I need to wear underwire bras for the support......the only non-
underwire bras I wear are my sports bras for exercising (those
I got at JC Penney).

Braless

I was a dd till I started to lose weight now I am a d and still have a hard time finding a bra that is comfortable for me to wear, hate to say it but I try and not wear one all the time.

Don't hate to say it! IMHO, going braless is DAMN sexy! (Yes, I know it can be uncomfortable, especially with large breasts. That doesn't change the aesthetic appeal.)

It seems that if you're in any way special (tall, big breasts, big ANYTHING), all the companies try to make you feel abnormal.

all the sizes make no size. I'm a large/xtra large shirt, size 11 jeans but guess what dress size?

a four

Make up your minds, companies!

I know I'm gonna regret saying this, but...

This issue is one that definitely makes me glad I'm a man. Most of our clothes are sized based on actual linear measurements. Life would be so much easier if they did the same for women's clothes too. Too bad companies are all convinced that women are all too shy/embarassed/whatever to admit to the honest size they wear.

Breast reduction

If I EVER get the money, I'm getting a breast reduction.

Kind of an extreme route, but I saw recently in the news that if you are in the Army (or presumably, any branch of the armed services) you can get free breast reduction surgery. As they pointed out in the article, military reconstructive surgeons have to gain experience somehow.

I am crying right now...the Bravissimo website...so great. I only wish I lived in the UK and near a store. I just can't afford the amount it would cost in exchange and shipping and handling. Otherwise I'd be in seventh heaven. They have fitted shirts designed specifically for large busted women! I always look like I'm swimming in fitted shirts. Plus strappy/strapless shirts with a full bra! Le sigh...le sigh

On a different note: I am so glad I live in Canada so I can get my breast reduction paid for! All I did was go into the doctor once, said my breasts seemed to be making my back hurt (I can barely stand up straight if I'm walking for more than an hour, shopping kills me!) and she suggested I go to a plastic surgeon. Now I just have to wait and see what he says! It might take a little while to get the actual surgery, but I don't have to pay for it! IF I decide to go through with it. We'll see what the doc says about possible side effects. I may put it off for the future. But I can't wait until September when I can finally do something about it!

Try www.bravissimo.com
A girl I know swears by them and she is a 32G
Good look :)

thank you for the link......I just looked at it briefly and it
seems that they have some pretty darn good stuff.....a
good reference for those who live in the UK :)

I'm just wanting to know if I'm in the minority or majority here when I say this. I only like big tits if they're real. I hate plastic boobs

Sorry folks I did'nt know it was a uk only site:(

its okay....but I am sure that those from the US buy
items from there.....that I am not sure about though.....

Hmmmmmmm that's hard to say......you have your own
preferences, and that's fine. Boobs are boobs, but my
opinion on breasts that have had augmentation look too
fake.

Guys are always going to have their own preferences,
but guys are always going to get turned on by breasts
anyway.

Personally, I like naturally large breasts better. Actually, I like all breast sizes. But I've found that when I'm watching porn or a movie clip that involves bare titianos, the real ones are so much more... soft looking. No offense to those of you with fake ones, but I just prefer the real ones. They move better and they don't look like they could be played four-square with.

I have not read every post in this thread, but I didn't see a mention of Wacoal bras. My G/F has one and swears that it's the most comfortable one she's ever owned. She's a 36dd. She got it on sale at Macy's.

there is a store named Lady Grace that will measure you to make sure you get the right size bra and they do specialize in women with big boobs.

Mine were 42D, I had a reduction done Feb 2001 and there 36C now.

I have to agree that Lane Bryant bras are far from the most comfortbale bras I ever wore. They look great on the hanger but don't run true to size in my opinion, arn't comfy and the support is not all that great. Their quality has down hill and 90% of it is great stuff if your a prostitute and need workin girl clothes.

I think Lane Bryant is trying to make up for the fact that women with large breasts havent had the same opportunities as women with smaller breasts and more so smaller rib cages.

I happen to love their stuff because it is sexy and maybe even trashy at times, when have I had the opportunity to look trashy when I wanted to with an '18 hour cross your heart and hope to get a man bra?' Now there is a chance I can look sexy with what Ive purchased over the years from Lane's.

As for plastic boobs- enlargements with huge silicone or saline implants do look fake, however if done right and for cosmetic and emotional healing they look great.
I guess what I mean is, if you had breast cancer and opted to have breast removal and needed reconstruction to make you emotionaly healthy, you would do it, understandibly. Or even if you were lop sided like most of us women are, and needed to add a little to make them even then you would do it.

Ozbloke~
The question now is, if your woman did this would you hate fake boobs? You want her to feel good about herself and whole as a person, or would you rather her have a huge scar and feel self concious about herself?

Just a thought~ Cealy

I'm an H. Part of me would love to have the reduction surgery to get them down to a full C or D and to make my back stop hurting so much, but on the other hand, I get SO much pleasure from my nipples that I can orgasm with nipple play alone, and I'd hate to lose that. You lose a lot of sensitivity when you get the surgery. Don't even get me started on trying to find bras that fit :) I buy mine from Lady Grace via their catalog.

I do like SOME of Lanes bras (that black boustier in the AV<<<< Bought it a lane) but I have to admit I just love fredricks... There is a sexy kinda almost forbidden feeling of walking in and out of there with thos sexy red bags..(don't ask I'm a freak) I'm a toppling 40DD and I'm still growing ( I'm 18) I was a B cup when I was 9 ( yup underwire bra...in the 4th grade)

I love sexy bras and I love underwire and the whole push-up effect.. its jus exciting I have no clue why LOL. And Fredricks has plus sizes in the majority of there lingerie now (unlike victoria secret, I can't stand that store...)

I have decided that if I get much bigger ( like FF or bigger) I will probably get a breast reduction, or at least a lift so they don't hurt my back as bad. I do have slight back problems now and they are only a DD so I don't know.

Ooh and about lane, because they are a plus size store.. I am too short for every thing there I hate it because there smallest size (14/16, makes me feel skinny ,until I go to a different store LOL) is too long, tops and skirts and pants and what not, everything is too long I'm 5'2, can't they have a "short N curvy" store!!!!

Also a great place for clothes...more of a teen type place ( but they have great bras and lingerie) Is Torrid, it is a plus size store with more of a youthful style, I love it there!

One more thing to bitch about, why is it that my "F"ing bra has to cost $28+ dollars but some girls without monster boobs get to pay like $5.99 GRRRRRRRRRRR!!! OOH OOH and when someone can find me a sports bra that holds my breasticles down and supports them properly let me know!

When I was thinner and only a 36DD I too loved Wacoals. Actually I one that sort of fits in a 38DDD. I prefer non underwire bras.

I just yesterday got crowns to try on for a Suzanne bra , they sent 3, size #6,7,8. I always find it alarming how big my breasts are when I am looking at bra cups. I know they are huge when I look at them and heavy! but they don't seem that big to me

All of the crowns seem to fit in depth but only one comes close to fitting the girth, the others are just too big from side to side. I guess my breast tissue stays pretty much out in front and not much in my underarm.

I think I need a longer and wider chest wall for these breasts ;)

I really like cameo/coleisce bras, they are kind of a suspension thing, but they are very difficult for me to get into.

I can't complain too much as my mom is a 32DD and she has even a harder time finding bras.

I am a 38F. I prefer going braless, it is not physically uncomfortable in the least for me. The attention I get in pubic can be very uncomfortable though. When I am wearing a bra I rip it off as soon as I get home. Decent Exposures bras are second to going without. Not terribly sex but very comfortable.

My sister just had a reduction and she was worried about losing feeling in her nipples. She has had quite the opposite problem. They have become super sensitive.

i am a 36C and i love my breasts. maybe i would wish them to be one cup bigger but i like the HUGE choises of bras i get and therefore i dont mind being a C one bit! so many idfferent disaigns that it isnt even funny!

i'm a 40DD and you know it's time to do something when you lay on your back and you restrict your breathing because your breasts are pushing on your windpipe. and my back is killing me, so i think it's time to look into something.
