i have to travel to an up north location next weekend...i hear it is brrrrhhh cold...well at least by arizona standards. anybody remember where i can buy a winter coat...in arizona...in september??? lol

oh hell, i'll just wear lots of sweaters...crap where can i get those? ;-)

My weekend is going to be focused on relaxing and getting over my little mini stomache flu. ...and here I thought I would make it to Fall Break without getting sick....oh well

Hopefully I'll be able to watch the ASU game and even more hopefully, they will get the train back on the tracks; but one never knows with them.

And yes, will the weather break this weekend??? I'm all atwitter [hmmmm is that spelled right? Oh, no matter, moving on...] in anticipation! I've got my thermals ready just in case.

Yep, weekend is going as planned so far, but just got exciting news...we just were given 2 tickets to todays UofA game against Washington! WooHoo! I am soo psyched...Go Cats!

Speakinawhich....I saw the strangest thing yesterday when I was driving past the UofA stadium. I saw a semi-trailer with Washington State Football on the side (equipment, probably) and 3 or 4 huge touring buses with the team on them being given a full police escort to the stadium, with lights and sirens...looked like royalty. I have never heard of that before.

Well, Mr. G...I hope you start feeling better, I think the flu season is starting out with a bang already. My sister and 3 of her kids were all down for 3 days with 104+ temps. I just heard about that today.

Okay, well....gotta go here, peeps...I've been on the phone, suddenly all these tail-gate plans and such are popping up here, and i need to run through the shower...! Have fun y'all!

Oh, yes..I do admit I enjoyed it immensely! Its great to finally see the Cats start out with some wins. My condolences to the ASU fans, they had a good season last year, so I hope things pick up for them.

And yeah, Calif Blk, I caught the end of the Cards game today...awesome win! Have to admit, the Cardinals presence isn't felt much in Southern Az; there are fans, but this is primarily a college sports town, and even local high school sports probably get more attention then they do, but I know they've struggled for a few years and its good to see them winning.

Oh, and you zonies...make sure and check out Mr-Gyrus's new Fantasy thread on the playground! Us Zonies need to stick together, lol...
