It depends on the economic stature of the city as well as local businesses. You have to remember that it's really close to school starting which could affect the job search. The best recourse is to keep looking and don't give up.
Actually - my problem is being over qualified... and not believed that I really DO only want part time. (I'm committed in being home for my children even thought they are in the upper grades)
