my world is a little blue today. im trying to cheer myself up, but its not so easy today.

why do people have to judge and belittle that which they dont understand?

i know my lifestyle isnt for everyone, but i dont judge others for not liking the things i do. why do they judge me for liking them? i use the word they, but i mean one specific person. the worst part is this is someone im very close to. im a forgiving person and im sure ill just let it go and not even tell her how much it hurt me, but its hard now to not feel resentment.

you dont have to like what i do, but you damn well better respect my right to do it!

at home. He was 93.

The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the
coffin.

I agree. The person in question has no right to question the lifestyle you choose to live by. Unfortunately, it is human nature to belittle or begrudge things we do not understand. It happened when the closet was officially demolished during the Stonewall incident and to this day is still the weapon of choice for all the alternate lifestyles.
I hope that you know that I appreciate you and that have no need to feel small because I respect your submissiveness.
