I first of all must apologize for my delay in answering. I had guests over for the weekend and this is the first time I was able to respond.

I think Lit represents an escape for some. In some cases, people find people they are most interested in talking to or getting to know better. Littogether's give us the chance to get to know people face to face although people interested in each other can meet outside of them if they trust them enough.
That being said, there are times when people come on the forums looking for something. Maybe not necessarily in a sexual manner, but a manner that says someone appreciates them, or cares for them as much as is able on such a vast board as this. There are times that events happen that lead people to believe things could happen in real life the way they happen here.

In order to illustrate this, I have to take the blue wings away for a bit.
