Ask Azul: The Next Generation

Why do guys say they want to chat, when they know and we know that isn't what they want? Why are lies and deception the same here as in real life? What does anonymity really do for anyone?

(I can ask separately if it's too many questions)

No worries.

-some guys think that you'll fall for it.

-some people think they have to be the same as in real life.

-They feel they can get away with more if you don't know who they are.

Where does common courtesy and good manners towards our fellow humans both known and unknown fit into people's lives? Is it a lost art anymore? Does anyone really try anymore or appreciate these things?

We still need courtesy and manners. However in this age of instant gratification and bad conduct, it isn't as common. There are some who learn and some who teach it, but overall it's becoming lost in my opinion.

Dear Azul,
Yesterday I scared the eejit who moved in with the jerk up front. The new roomie apparently either isn't too bright or is extremely rude. He decided to hang some of his laundry out to dry... and placed it in front of my kitchen window.

Seriously, who does that? We have a free laundry room with a drier. When he came out to check on the mess that he left hanging there over night (in the rain no less) I told him from now on hang his laundry in his own kitchen window. He hadn't seen me standing at my window when I spoke & I scared him bad enough to make him stutter... maybe even pee his pants.

So I don't think he will do that again. But seriously WTH is wrong with people these days? He's lucky I didn't go out and knock it on the ground with a pole. I'm too short to reach where he put it. Plus my mother raised me to be nicer then that.

Sadly, yes. I encourage it at home more than anywhere else. I teach the family to treat each other with maximum courtesy and respect. That we all love and care about each other right? No reason ever that you would treat a nonfamily member better than your own. They respond very well to it, and consequently exercise their courtesy frequently outside the family as well.

Starts at home.

Some people lack sense. There's seems to be more of them daily.
 Thank you for not going total robo on him.
*careful hugs*

It was a her... and the Clinical Supervisor no less who would have fired anyone of her team for acting like that. I did better then robo. I called and turned her ass into the QA Director because this place is HUGE on customer service & respect. Then I called Humana & documented it sense she can try & bill for yesterday and honestly she is really pissed cause I did catch it & call her out on half assing my evaluation. It really should be redone properly. If this was my first post surgery PT I wouldn't know. But when you've had maybe a dozen PT evals in the last 10 years you know the drill.

and I did ask what other patients has she pulled this on.
