Ask Me a Question v 12.26.2021

Don't do it! LOL - never been married.

What thing about yourself do you tell people - but they don't believe?
My age. Most think I'm younger than I am.

Other than a pay-for-play situation, what’s the shortest time you’ve gone from first meeting someone to having sex with them?

Less than ten minutes.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would your rate your 2023 sex life?

Over a decade ( not including self satisfaction)

What is your wildest fantasy?( only answer if you're brave enough to tell)
Oh, I'm not sure how wild this is but... me. On a beach on Bora Bora. The ocean filled with wild creatures. The beach house behind me, with a large lānai, is filled with Mayan warrior masks and Faberge eggs. Vin Diesel is serving me coffee and fruit and bacon and reads to me as I enjoy the calm, beautiful scene.

Le sigh.

How do you wish you could spend your weekend, if money and obligations are not an object?

It's surprisingly cheap, I want a contra dance weekend like the Flurry (including a sprung floor so that dancing doesn't wear me out). If money were really no object then I would pay Perpetual e-Motion what ever they want to get back together and play. I would probably try to eat lite but well.

Same question

Cheater!

Money is no object eh? The above fantasy :D Bora Bora with Vin Diesel serving me coffee and food while I sleep and read. Bliss.

Is there an adage that you live by?

(I thought it was a really good question).

the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you" - [ Matthew 7:2] or as I like to observe the most frighten words in the Christian canon forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us

What exercise do you do, and how much do you enjoy it?

I lift. Hike. Walk. Row. Spin. Yoga. And use the cross trainer. I need variety or I can’t stick with it. I like to be active.

What is a trip you want to go on, but haven’t yet?

(well, if you put it that way... you're forgiven, Bear Boo ;))

And brilliant adage :)

I'm simple: every trip there is. I like to travel :)

What's the most difficult thing you have done for your own self?

Need to take off and shovel. Have a lovely afternoon all!

Make decisions where everyone in my life was telling me fuck no. Like deciding to get a divorce, which was a good decision. I've never regretted it.

What's the best meal you ever prepared?

What's the best meal you ever prepared?
I make pretty good semi-homemade chili verde enchiladas.

What is something you though you would never do but ended up doing?

Yes, more than once.

What was the most unusual relationship you've had?
(Did you compare notes?)

The one where the only time we hooked up was at work. We never saw each other outside of work.

What is the further away you have lived from someone you were dating?

West Coast to East Coast, though, we both had bicoastal jobs, so it wasn't that hard to manage. (LOL - and no, we didn't compare notes. It was a minefield, relationship wise).

What's your favorite piece of art?

(Didn't mean to skip you @awired50, my answer stands for your question as well).

I'm answering this out of order because (a) Breezy have a long "Ask me a question" history, (b) it will annoy her that I didn't follow the rules (not really), and (c)....

Guess....just guess....how do you THINK sailor man would spend his weekend....:p

So I have a lot of things that I just love. Many are actually architecture - in particular I have a love of Medieval Cathedrals and in general Gothic Architecture.
However, whenever anyone asks me about this, one of my go to answer is
Winslow Homer's Breezing Up.
Others that come to mind are Paolo Veronese The Wedding Feast at Cana. One of the things I love about this one is that it hangs opposite the Mona Lisa in the Louvre. I think the Mona Lisa is overrated. Don't get me wrong, it's fine. But I stood there (and if you've ever been...it's FUCKIN' packed) and then pushed my way forward to the rail (there's a rail, you can't get within 5' of it) to see it. Meh...whatever. And then I turned around....and there was The Wedding Feast at Cana. It's huge. It's gorgeous. It's brilliant. It's full of energy (hmmm like Breezing Up?) and bold brilliant colors.

And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Rubens. I love his stuff. Especially his women. :D Judgement of Paris is a favorite.
