Azul's Coffee Talk

*smiles*

4. Let's talk about coffee at home this time. Which was the brand your parent's made? Did you follow suit or did you select a different one as your main coffee? Why or why not?

Thank you to all the Trick or Treater's. 💖💖💖

The military killed my taste for coffee. I think it was more sludge and oil than coffee but it did the trick. Still, old habits die hard and every morning it's coffee. I think this morning is Costco brand. I use whatever my wife puts in the container. Lol

My father's coffee of choice was originally Maxwell House. Then whatever bargain brand he could get.

When I moved up here and started a family, my wife's family hooked me on Folger's.
Now that I am the only coffee drinker in the house and was gifted a Keurig, I drink the cheap Breakfast Blend since Folger's is a little pricey now.

My parents have, for as long as I can remember bought one of the better Finnish coffee brands.

Unfortunately the tea they used to buy was Earl Grey, or Lipton Yellow Label. No wonder I didn't learn to like tea before I was adult! I simply hate the taste of bergamot and therefore Earl Grey, and I demand something better than Yellow label - in fact, rather something else than Lipton.

I didn't learn to like tea before I got good, unflavoured tea served with lemon slices in Czech Republic.

My dad's tea of choice was Lipton before he went for cheap stuff.
We always made Sweet Tea with it, so it didn't have to be good stuff.
I rarely drink the stuff now. Again, it's because I am the only one in the house who would drink it.

By the way, 🤗🤗🤗

The brand I remember as he was so pround of it was chock full o nuts. It was good the way he made it. I bought ir only once in my 20s but since then have become more of a coffee snob.

My mother liked Lipton black tea. When I was young and poor, I drank it but later turned into a tea snob - only Yorkshire and Darjeeling today.
