It's not just lately. She's been banning bb alts for a long time, years. bb wasn't that bad back when s/he joined the first time, but after the first ban it seemed to bring out completely irrational behavior in bb and s/he's been that way ever since. For a short time I thought it was an act. I now think s/he has a psychiatric problem. But that isn't the point. Each time bb comes back s/he does the same shtick so gets banned. Ish and AJ on the other hand have TRIED (emphasis on tried) to stay within the rules, most of the time. I think perhaps (although I have no way of knowing for sure) Laurel let's them be if they stay within the rules. Come to think of it, I guess you're right; if that's the case she does let them come back.

I think it was more of a game until now. BB was deliberately breaking forum rules (mostly by posting more than 6 paragraphs, kill all democrats) for shit stirring and to get a new name to evade iggy lists.

i've not been a mod here for years! gave the keys back when i started full-time work as i didn't have the free time i felt was required to do the job right.

didn't report most of the posts/threads/people that got banned, just saw my name up there by the disgruntled accusing me of having done so. reported only 2 posters in the past months. others have pm'd me, telling me THEY reported posters for image/content violations because THEY were fed up to the back teeth with seeing the same people getting away with it over and over again. those same posters were already multi-banned for their shit. i don't lie, you know that. matthew naziboi even started a thread complaining HE was the one who got x&y banned overnight and why was i taking credit for it??? not that i did, of course. blame the butthurteds

fact of the matter is OTHERS are getting into the habit of reporting the constant rule violations and, since they're getting reported, i guess they're getting acted on more often. when people tire of such blatant, uglyisms that get posted by the nastiest, sleaziest, lyingest trolls, this happens. some of those same trolls have been busy reporting other people, too, for imagined (or real) rule breaks, yet shout the loudest when their own username bites the dust!
