I do not know........did you know what that was or did you have to google it?

i did in fact know what it is. :p

although i'll confess that i initially thought it was something the aztecs used to play. :>

CAR/NYG: it all depends on which carolina and giants teams show up sunday. remember that john fox spent a few years watching tiki play up close and personal. i think that i've noticed inconsistency for both teams, esp after a win. however, i think there's a better chance that the CAR players will have "shot their wad" than the giants players. this one's gonna be by a safety, i think, but damned if i know by who.

TAM/WSH: washington's playing well, but i just don't see joe gibbs going all the way in his second year back. they'll do OK, but chucky's been there more recently. springs is injured, which means that even if he's ready to go, he won't be 100%, which will make things easier for young simms. i'm gonna say tampa by 2.

PIT/CIN: steelers by 7, i say.

NE/JAX: pats, baby. belichick is amazing and so is brady.

re: jax: yeah, but if you don't have the goods, it doesn't matter what they're thinking. i'm just not sold on this team.

i'm having increasingly less confidence in manning with the passing months.

i don't know what to make of it. it's as if he's developing less rhythm w/ his receivers with each week of practice.

[groan]

the in-laws will be visiting sunday, which means i won't be able to watch my beloved giants in their first playoff game in years. gr!

i'm so glad i didn't actually get to watch the game.

someone needs to figure out how roethlisberger matured so quickly and then make eli do the same.

i figured the pats would win. congrats!

the steelers/indy game should be very interesting.

hm...so looking over my predictions, i did OK w/ the AFC but was completely wrong about the NFC. ah, well...maybe i should become a jets fan? :|

well, after 16 regular season games where nobody did stop tiki, who thinks he's gonna be completely shut down?

about the pats: remember, winning ugly is still winning.

i really dislike washington so i was kinda annoyed that the bucs couldn't take 'em down.

it was a bad weekend for inexperienced NFC QBs, i guess.

scalywag: hey, it's all about how well your team plays the other team. that's why players spend time studying film, right?

ed

i really wanna see the pats v. carolina. i hate that he left the giants, and i think that his defensive talent is underrated. it would pit 2 real students of the game against one another.

ed

it could be a game for the ages, man.

[sets about making super bowl party preparations--meaning, thinking about a menu]

:D
