Rain here as well. A steady downpour. Just a plain old nasty weekend in NOVA and I hate it. Good news is that the weatherman is saying the weather will turn around for the 10 day outlook.

It's a lazy morning here at my place. Fortunately for me it is raining here... Although I understand lots of places around me are getting hit with snow... Wished I could do something weather wise for ya.

The only thing I've gotten free was aggravation and I can't give that way! Now don't go running out to buy a chopper...! I'd like some of them kisses. Biker's Run 1st offical BBQ on May 20th, 2007...!

I am proud to announce the first Biker’s Run get together and BBQ…

The date will be; May 20th, 2007.

The location will be; My place in the sleep town of Woodbury, Connecticut.

Who is invited; the good members of Biker’s Run (and very naughty biker chic’s… )

Rule of attending; damned if I know… This is like Vegas, what happens here stays here!


All joking aside this is your opportunity to meet some of the great people on this thread face to face. It will be a day good food, good friends, and good times. Just a day for you to relax in the warm sun with your extended family. No pressure and no egos! Just laughter and lots of smiles.

So who all is coming so far: GutterGoddess, KnightWing, and of course me…

The menu for the BBQ will be: (anyone wishing to bring a entrée please PM me so it can be added to the list and you will receive credit for it… It also help avoiding duplicates )

. Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, and of course Hot Dogs – Jaded.
. Jaded’s Polynesian Honey Glazed Chicken Breasts – Jaded.
. Jaded’s Homemade German Potato Salad – Jaded.
. Vegetable to be yet determined…? – Jaded.
. A tossed green salad – Jaded.
. Chilled watermelon for desert – Jaded.
. Plenty of ice cold soda – Jaded. (this is a BYOB affair)

I will be supplying…

. Sliced land O lakes American cheese, hamburger buns and hot dog buns.
. Tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cucumber, raisins, crotons, and a assortment of
dressings for the salad.
. Tomatoes, onions, fried peppers, lettuce for the burgers. Plus Jaded’s Tex / Mex
BBQ sauce made with tequila.
. Condiments (not condoms! Supply your own… You know you’ll fall right out
of the Magnums that I us…!) such as;
Ketchup, mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, hamburger relish, hot dog relish, and fresh
creamy unsalted Land O lake butter.
. Paper plates, plastic cups, plastic eating utensils, and paper napkins.
. Ice.

Jade has a supply of Mardi Gras beads for those naughty biker chic’s wanting to show or rub their tits against ol’e Jaded…

This will be the first in a series of Biker’s Run BBQ’s. They have always been about promoting friendships.

Although we love seeing your bike it is not necessary for those traveling long distances or those planning to drink a little to attend on a 2 wheeler. There are times when a 4 wheeler is a better choice than reading about you in the newspaper. Those planning to attend please PM me so your name can be added to the list attending. Rain date will be June 3rd, 2007. Be apart of history...

It's still raining here in Connecticut. We currently have 8,000 customers with out electric. There is major flooding throught the state. This storm is supposed to be here until late Wednesday. Then scattered showers through Thursday. Doesn't look like we will see any sun until Friday.. However for me it beats the hell out of snow.

I hope that no one has experienced to much storm damage...

I haven't been able to get in here as much as I like.

Damn Jaded,,, you've got enough food planned for lots of people. Sorry to tell you, but I have been informed that I have a seminar on the 22 and 23 of May, which I have to be at! So looks like the 20th is out for me, damn it!!! I hope some of the others will be able to make it.

Of course if it's just you and GG,,, Lucky you!!!

This weekends class went ok. Only had a couple bikes go down,,,no injuries, just their pride. It was 27 when I left on the bike this morning, but the sun was out and it soon was up to 40!!!

Hope everyone in the Northeast is surviving the storm. We only have wind here, and chilly temperatures.

...Glad to have Monday behind us, been very windy here all day, more like March winds, then any kinda April weather. I saw a neighbor out tryin' to get a kite up for his kids this afternoon, on the way in. I figured if he did get it up, was so damn windy, would probably shred it. But the youngens seemed to be enjoyin' the attempt.
...Yeah Doc, helluva day in Va., makes ya wonder what goes thru some kids minds. We have a friend, who has a son, takin' an Engineering class there, but they have been in contact, so he and his sister are both fine. A lot of our youngens from here go there. Back in my day it was known as party town, looks like after April 16th, its gonna be known as somethin' entirely different...

Good evening, everyone...

Doc I am so sorry to hear about the shooting at the college in VA... That has to be rough on the familys in the area.

It's still raining here in Woodbury, CT. There is a dam in the Bethlehem the next town over. That dam is under a great amount of stress. If it continues to rain hard that dam has a very good chance of letting go. I am on fairly high ground but a couple of blocks way they are on alert. Should the the siren at the fire house go off in short blast the people in that area have a half hour to evacuate. Should that siren sound in a steady blast it means that the dam has busted and hold on. That dam holds back a lot of water. Many houses will be washed away. Personelly I think I would find a hotel room to spend the night... It is dropping back down into the 30's tonight again. So much for globel warming...

KnightWing sorry to hear about having to attend the seminar. Yep your right I do perpare enough food to feed a army. My friend no one has ever pushed away from my table still hungry. I was kinda hope'n that you were going to attend that GG is insatible and I'm only one man...

GG, honey I meant the remark in a good way... That you're one hell of a woman.
