Good morning, gang... :)

Good luck on the carb today Sassy.

Want to wish all my friends here on Biker's run a super great Saturday. Catcha ya all later... :)

Good Morning Jaded! Thanks, I always need some good luck. Wishing you a wonderful Saturday also. I worked 12 hrs last night and have 5 more days of the 12 hrs shifts, so won't really be a great day for me...would be great if I get the bike to run without leaking gas. ;)

Sassykay,
Buy a can of air. No I'm not joking. Get one of those "air blaster" cans they use to clean computer keyboards.
I like to make a shield out of an old Gallon Milk container. Cut it so it protects the area around the carb and put a pan under it to catch the crap. Then use your carb cleaner liberly followed by a shot of air from the air blaster can.
Now spray the cleaner all up inside the carb and your gonna want to work the throttle as you do this.

Jaded,
I agree if the carb has sat too long and the fuel has Jelled up or turned to varnish it should be pulled and rebuilt. I'm hoping she just doesn't need to do this just yet. The critters may have used the air cleaner for their house but they rarely cause too much damage inside the carb some cleaner can't fix.

Good luck!

Well if it doesn't start you can always mount me. With a good woman I can vibrate and have a built in thrusting action too... :nana: ... ... Oh and once properly impaled there is no need to hold on you won't fall off under hard acceleration... ;)

Have a great weekend...

I am hoping that flushing it out will help....someone else had suggested this to me...I did put Sta-bil (?) in the gas tank before winter and as I said before, it was starting ok until I found the bird seed...mice mess...I don't know...will try the easy stuff everyone has been suggesting, then if all else fails, I will get my mechanic. He just doesn't like working on Sporty's, so I would like to solve this myself. He will help me, but I hate to bother him if I don't have to. I will have to ask him, but I think he changed spark plugs last year. And it was fine on the couple times I took it out after he tuned it up. Just didn't ride much cause of my suspended license...but did start it up often. Just sit on it and listen to it purr and feel the vibration...

Oh nothing worse for your bike than letting it sit in the garage . My bike gets so mad if I leave it home for only a day or 2 . It just loves to go out and run like the wind . :D

Good morning, girls and boys.... :)

It's a lazy Sunday morning here in Woodbury, CT. The skies are a overcast grey and it is very humid. We have a 25% chance of severe thunderstorms this afternoon. Tonight the reminisce of tropical storm Barry is set to move threw here tonight and into tomorrow. We could use some gentle stead rain for the gardens.

My beefsteak tomato plants are nearly 3 foot tall now and loaded with buds... :D I should be eating vine rippened tomatos this month... :nana: My two pepper plants are starting to take off after a long dormant period. My herb garden is growing very nicely. I made the mistake of plant the garden right outside my living room window near my computer desk. As i sit hear I have a severe case of the munches. The scent is strong when the wind is blowing right. The flowers are also doing great including the young Jasmine plant I have started in a hanging pot in the living room. When that finally starts to flower it will produce a gentle scent of Jasmine through out the living room all year round. I want to try the same thing with a lavender plant in my bedroom. It will be nice to fall asleep with the gentle smell of fresh lavender.

I am planning on going over to my storage unit and replacing the battery in the bike today. It is a bit of a tight squeeze. The unit measures only 6 x 10 but it is a new all steel construction building set on a thick cement slab. Sassy a little trick I learned when I had my antigue cars is to place a couple of boxes of moth balls in the room with your stored vehicle. Rodents can't stand the smell and will leave your vehicle alone. My storage unit is sealed tight, but I keep a box of moth balls in it just the same... ;) Better safe than sorry!

KnightWing was asking about a rescheduled date for are first Biker's Run BBQ. So I am going to ask everyone if they have a month that is best for them. I figure once we get a month then we can work on a date. July 21st is out for me. I will be attending my very beautiful grand daughter 1st birthday... :) So I need feed back from those that are interested in attending are little get together. I have done this with another thread I started a while back and they have always been fun.

Ok, I have bull shited enough this morning. I am getting hungry. This morning it is my famous New Englnad breakfast of a pot of freshly ground Dunkin Donuts coffee, orange juice, scrambled eggs with cheese and fresh chives, golden brown thick sliced bacon, Jaded's very special home fried potatos(secret recipe), butter milk biscuits, and lots of creamy unsalted Land O Lakes butter. You can actually hear your vains clogging as you eat it.

Well gang have a great Sunday. Catch ya all later... :D

Jade, why don't you make it after Sturgis?

Then I could put that on my list of stops on our road trip.

In answer to your question Ms. Lorelei, yes some of us do. :D

(big smile) Cool, thats the way it should be.

Well, it should be that way with the woman in your life too, and I think it is, I mean, you're a self professed dirty old man. :)

lol.. so, its forever then... you and your bike. :)

I've been noticing, guys on bikes, noticing me. I'm usually not that visual, and I've been trying to notice more. I'm thinking, maybe guys who ride bikes, are my type?

I'm thinking they probably wouldn't start an arguement with me about who puts up the christmas tree, and who is going to color coordinate, design the look, and buy all the ribbons and balls for it.

I like a traditional kind of guy. :)

lol... yeah, I like to keep it real, so here we go... our first fight. :D

I'm not boring inside or outside of the bedroom. I just don't get along well romantically if the guy is way way way to in touch with his feminine side. Im old fashioned in many ways, yet very open minded in others, and Im kinky too.

MMMMM more and more my kinda woman.

My 2 great passions in life -

1. Riding my Wing in the twisties.

2. Passionately licking a woman's vagina and anus until she orgasmicaly explodes.

Not necessarily in that order. :nana:

Good morning all,

No problem, I named her Babe, for a couple of reasons,, one as she is big and blue, like Babe the Blue Ox!!!

Have a great day, stay safe.

Good Morning all~

Guys, I didn't get to check the bike out Sat. I worked 12hrs Fri. night and couldn't sleep when I got home from work, so by the time I did go to bed, I ended up sleeping till time to get ready for work again. I am halfway done with my work week now...I have put in 36 of my scheduled 72 hrs. 3 more days and I am off for 12 days!!! WooHoo!!

NYWings ~ I will let you know what works. I appreciate all the advice and help you have given thus far.

Jaded ~ That is a great offer above!!! :p I am so thankful that you are so helpful. And it does sound like much more fun than working on the bike!!!
I will remember your advice about the mothballs next winter. Your post made me hungry talking about fresh veggies and then the breakfast you were going to make...course your other post made me hungry too, just a different appetite.

Bimori ~ I don't know if the bike is unhappy about sitting in the garage, but I know that I am not happy about it. Maybe that is why I have my leak, it got pissed at me for leaving it sit and always taking the convertible.

Lorelie ~ I have even named my bike. Most of my riding friends have bigger bikes and most have harleys...which they call hogs...so since I have a little sportster, we call her the piglet.

KnightWing ~ Thanks for the good luck wishes...you know you could always travel south and help me work on the little girl...I am sure I could come up with a way to "pay" you for your help!!!

Well, I guess that is about it for today. I am not real concerned about the bike till I finish up this rotation at work now. They were calling for possible showers/thunderstorms most every day...haven't watched the weather yet today, but I will have 12 days off and should be able to get it fixed in that time and get some riding in. Will keep ya posted on the repair work!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day, even if it is Monday!!!

Good morning, everyone.... :)

It's a raining morning here in Woodbury, CT. I have today off and like the cooler weather. Sitting here with my first cup of coffee. As I listen to the birds chirping and the rain falling outside. It is a peaceful morning. I do have to get my laundry done today but that's not a biggie. I dug my shorts out as this summer is only gonna get hotter.

FritzyBoy welcome to are Biker's Run thread. Have fun and enjoy yourself. When your here your always amongst friends. We are lucky to have attracted a good group. We also seem to be attracting a group of Wing riders. My girl seems to like those back road twisties too... ;) Here it not as much what you ride as it is that you ride. We try to help one another out when ever possible. Now this is only a friendly recommendation. I would not attempt to combined your two favorite things to do into one to save time. Licking pussy is a big enough distraction. Trying to handle the windies and licking pussy is a accident waiting to happen... !

Lorelei_11 I very well be a dirty ol'e man. However I kinda see myself more a just a guy that defies the aging process. With a extremely high sex drive and still very very capable of banging them over the fence (baseball term... :D ) My motto is always leave them dripping wet...

Sassykat one of the best thing I did was to retire. I work only part time to keep myself busy. My work weeks would run any where between 55 to 72 hours a week. Since I did that I am finding things I never had time for. I am getting in touch with the inner me. I am slowly getting back into the things I enjoy. I recently attended a seminar on the art of cooking with spices and herbs. I love cooking and starting to expand my skills in the kitchen. I am going to be attend an aromatherapy seminar tomorrow evening. This will expand my skills in the bedroom... Something you may want to try. I found the the herb Jasmine can be grown indoors. It does require a minium of 4 to 5 hours of direct sun light. I have two young plants started in a hanging planter. Jasmine like humidity so I have a dish under the pot with a bed of stones. This not only provides good drainage away from the roots but in the winter heat will provide the humidity necessary to keep the plant alive (sorta like a mini hot house). The plant will produce small white flowers all year round and give of the scent of Jasmine all year round. Trust me baby life does get better... :D Mmmmm, stay wet for me... :p

As mentioned before I need recommendations on a reschedule date for are Biker's Run first BBQ. With all the talk about about BBQ sandwiches I think it would make a excellent entree... ;) July 21st is out for me. That is the weekend of my beautiful grand daughters 1st birthday. My son and daughter in law is doing a BBQ that day. I am planning to do some of the side dishes for them.

Would love to sit here a chat however that isn't get'n the chores done. Want to wish everbody a super great day. Catcha ya all later,,, :D

Now that would have been real handy having you around about 3 weeks ago when I found my problem. Would really be great right now, since I actually am legal to ride it again. A mouse had been up in under the carb cover, found bird seed laying on the top of the primary cover, which is directly under my carb...took the cover off the carb and the rest of the evidence was in the filter...I am sure it is related to whatever is wrong because it had been starting fine with no leak pre bird seed shells and mouse droppings... Damn mice!!!!!!
I have been cleaning mouse droppings out of bikes all week. I think last winter was especially bad.

Between mice and shitty gas and every bike that came in the shop needing the carbs cleaned.

Ride safe y'all :)

Spaz
