I have to say, none of the gay couples I know would be caught dead having pizza at their wedding.

This is for my older brother's 50th wedding anniversary. They never had a cake for their wedding because my mother didn't approve, and was busy setting fire to my brother's bed in the back yard during the nuptuals.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to make a lovely bed-shaped cake.

I was going to suggest something along the lines of a flame decal along the sides, but thought you might have more tact than I do.

Boyminx got the job he interviewed for this morning. He starts on Monday. Yay!

Babyminx tried out for Drum Major, and thinks it went really well, but she won't find out until Monday. Yay!

I get to sleep in tomorrow, and then I'm going to a winery for dinner, and after that to a bar to see a band with a friend. Yay Yay!

It's been quite a week--I'm so glad it's Friday.
