Things I learned on this vacation, in no particular order ...
Quidi Vidi brews great beer.
Cincinnati OH and Birmingham AL are hot and humid.
The South knows how to cook a pig.
Tennessee and Alabama have mighty friendly people.
My grandfather was an honorary Kentucky Colonel.
Country music doesn't seem to have any real identity of its own any more, but they throw a good party.
There's probably more, but I'm still recovering.

Pounce!Lots of luck for quick and as painless as possible for the lil honey, and lots of luck on those errands for our Honey.
Set up a cattle call for the 2 hours during her next surgery. Have them send in head shots, and references. It will help you weed out the ones you aren't interested in. Or the internet works.

things took a little longer today, but went very well! I got the little one sparkly nail polish, raspberry sweet tea, and chips and guacamole.
hm... cattle call... head shots... FetLife locals? Craigslist? Some of both, I think.

Surgery Day, which means it's also 'cram a weeks' worth of errands into 2-4 hours' day.
