One of my favorite girlfriends is coming to have lunch today! It's rainy and dark out there, so I made a big pot of avgolemono soup, a Caprese salad with a bit of a greek twist, and a fruit salad with fresh basil and some palmiers for dessert.

Spoiled rotten.

Now I am craving this, and these old, lemon-flavoured Vicks cough drops from the glovebox are just not gonna cut it.

Sounds like we are of an accord tootse. I do very little carrot, a bit more onion, and meyer lemon which still gives it the sour, but with a little more depth. My fingers smell like a combo of lemon from the soup, and the cinnamon sticks I had to microplane because some one keeps hiding the already ground stuff, for the palmiers. My whole house smells fantastic. I did not do a baguette. I made homemade pizza last night, and saved back a bit of the dough, brushed it with butter, garlic, and cracked black pepper and have that in the oven to go with the soup. Stop on by--you know you always have a standing invite.

When I worked at the Greek bakery, Thea (I think her real name was Helen) used to occasionally make avgolemono for us for lunch. She always served it with pita right out of the oven. It was to DIE for. I miss that lady!

I am somewhat confused by this post and would consider it a mere blurt, but for the previous posts about your butt.

Good woman, I offered high praise for your pic, which was warranted as it was ass fine an ass pic ass one could ever assk for. My post previous to this was merely echoing The Lustrous One's suggestion that you tell your critic to go pound salt.

Too bad you decided to take it down. The world is a darker, cooler place today by it's absence. Your choice of undergarment (red is a fine colour on you), the warm lighting the image was captured in, and the perspective and cropping of the shot... it invited the viewer in to touch, caress, pull aside the red lace and nom, nom, nom.

Did someone take that pic for you, or did you take it yourself? During its brief run, I imagine a few 'selfie-sticks' were created.

I think there has been a misunderstanding. my 'critic' is actually one of my biggest supporters.
I do not require anyone's say-so to post a profile pic, saucy or otherwise. but I asked because...

a. playing 'Let's Ask Permission' is a fun game! and,
b. I am a reluctant exhibitionist, and unlikely to participate in a friendly game of 'you show me yours, I'll show you mine' without a firm little nudge. my friend knows this about me, knew what i was really asking, and told me exactly what I had hoped to hear: 'post the pic.' (turns out, I am pathetically transparent.)

I just didn't count on him instructing me to leave it up for an entire hour--!! an eternity of agony for an incorrigible flirt who's really a shy kitten at heart. (don't worry, he'll pay for this later.) If left to my own devices, I would have taken the pic down after only the briefest of showings. So really, you have him to thank for the fact that it was up as long as it was.
