It's a recumbent ( or 'bent') which means feet out in front, broad seat, so no wedgie from long rides, kind of like pedaling a barka-lounger.

It's a tadpole trike, three-wheeled, tadpole configuration means two wheels in front vs. a delta, with two in back.

Both two and three wheeled bents are more aerodynamic than uprights because of the body position, and if wanted, a partial or full fairing can be added.

It's an awesome ride and you can't fall down, which is a decided advantage during a high speed blowout.
