She closed her eyes smelling the flowers mixed with the smoke from the dragon. As she drifted off to sleep her inner demons crept out into the darkness toying with her. She struggled to fight them but was too tired to make them go away. Still she hoped one day though...
 
How did I get into this storytelling anyhow? lol I thought I was writing a simple poem. I'm not used to sharing stories lol. Help!!!

She lay on her side knowing his presence was there. Feeling the warmth of his body and taking comfort in it. Allowing her mind to let go and to dare of happy thoughts. She felt her body become heavier as though it might sink into the ground and slowly drifted off to sleep. This time she saw the man she loved and he came to her arms held out... She saw his love and felt it for it radiated from his body enveloping her. She was at peace at last. He had come home...
