Sorry, I'm don't enjoy California's winter rains much, prefer the warm midwestern/southern rains in the summer and sunny Cal beaches.

North Central about 70 miles straight north of Des Moines, hometown on 850 people. Used to roll through Nebraska in the early hours on my way home from college. I think it was 435 miles and thought it had to be the longest state east to west in the nation, until I drove across Texas. Where in Nebraska

Rain isn't so bad...

Slipping out of her clothes well worn from the day she pulled back the covers and slid into the sheets. She snuggled down deep in them relishing in how they felt against her soft skin. That smell of freshly washed sheets filled the room and she took a deep breath. Closing her eyes she listened to the quiet night... all quiet except the rain gently falling down upon the roof. The soft drops relaxing her and making her sleepy she turned on her side bending one leg up by her as it rested on the bed. Her hand layed up by her hair that was spread out like shimmers of golden ribbon on her pillow. The rain gently drummed her to sleep and she fell off into her dreams...

Rain is good sometimes DrHike hehe
