No problemo. Point well taken EJ. He was instrumental in the AFC (I think it was actually the AFL back then), and that helped in the development of what we enjoy today as the NFL. Unfortunately, I feel the services he performed for the development of the game in the past are now overshadowed by his devious antics of more recent years, and the unending litigation with the league. Besides, I do still root for Jerry Rice, as any good 49er fan should.

Knowing and watching football was a means of survival when I was tending bar....and I enjoy watching with friends (mostly for the laughs and the company...the game is incidental).

It's funny how everyone here in SD was leary of getting too worked up over the Chargers great start this year.........maybe thats the issue.....you want them to do well year in and year out only to see them come up short..............
