NG - How does a girl from New York end up in Texas?
Long story...but short end, left a bad relationship behind, wanted a change of pace from NYC, and my best friend from college was here. Asked me to come live with him. so what the hell right? Im adventurous. :D That was 4 years ago, this month.

But I dont believe Im quite cut out for the good 'ole state of Texas. Too much of a yank I suppose.

You are a horny

About Cali...thats what I hear...have thought about moving further west..but I plan to visit first, see what I am getting into :D

always thought Oregon or Washington was more my style...

Californoria

NG-Platonic college friend? Lots of Yank(er)s in Californoria, cum on out. Seattle, Portland, San Fran are probably more your style. Sorry to all my SoCal friends but L.A. area is fucked, San Diego is nice (I have to say that or Cherrie and EJ will cut me off).

GLB - ever notice how the fingers get fatter when you try typing after you get off work? (Californoria)

Yes, platonic. Well we dated on and off in college...my best friend of 13 years.

yes, I definately do not think LA is my style...Im pretty laid back...too laid back for that area I assume. But I think I need to make some trips along the west coast, scope it out.

DrH is right - LA sucks I avoid that place. Prefer inland or down towards San Diego. Will say central coast is laid back and pretty. IF I could get good paying job there, would move in a heart beat. Sorry but San Franciso is another big city like LA, just more compact. Seattle is okkk Portland is good. Sister lives in Wash across from river from Portland
*taking notes for future travel plans*

I have family in Portland. Havent been up there yet...

Im thinking road trip now...a month off and a road trip. YAY! :D

Nice addendum.

NG...San Diego is THE place in CA to visit..it's beautiful here and varied...within an hour's drive I go from the beach to the mountains,(see some snow) and to the desert. And we have that little zoo thing going...and sea world.....and the wild animal park...

That's it..you should all come down for a visit. :)

The Wild Animal Park is wonderful..much better than the zoo..I go there every chance I get. The animals just roam about, not all couped up in cages like the zoo. I've got some absolutely great pics from there. Check back in here tomorrow and I'll post some for you.

And thank you..I am feeling much better..the time spent with a 14 year old daughter is worth gold....had a nice evening with her.

Reminds me of my time with my daughter when she was that age. At least at 14 they begin to again be somewhat loveable. I'd recommend boarding school during years 12 and 13.

time to hit the rack for the evening, g'nite all

Running in with that blanket for Dr. I was afk when you asked earlier... and you might need it. You look a bit chilly in that AV.

Thanks Sugar, you joining me or staying up a while longer?
BTW how's the job thing going?

Trying to stay up awhile or I can't sleep at all. Still looking Dr...
I did get a reply card back from the college about receiving my resume so now it's whether I get an interview or not.

Good luck
