Dr Hike, the sca is the society for creative anachronism. We dress up in garb and reenact medieval times. Kind of like ren fair. But we aren't actors.

If I understand 420 right its a term used with drug use. But I'm not sure

Hey SM! No I go to my lab. Thhey do all the hard work. I just get to frolick with the nekid chicks.... These days thoogh I'm shooting more digital when it comes to glamour and erotica. I still love going into the darkroom but I don't get the chance near as often. I spend a great deal of time at my computer.

Hi Lady Sam, I have taken up archery as a leasure time activity and the other day I was talking to a group of people who were also involved with the sca. Sounds like you folks have a great time. One of these days you may just see me at one of your events.

By the way 420 as I understand it stands for pot smoking. There is a reason for the 420 designation, I think it has to do with a song but then I had to much of a 420 youth so my cells are bit slim....

Answering my own question

My sources, can't believe I have friends who are cops, tell me that 420 is slang picked up for the law enforcements term/code # for possession of pot. Who'd of thought.

Went to the Eagles concert in Sac a couple of weeks ago. Second encore some kid in his early twenties lights up a joint behind us 40 plusers and within a few minutes security was all over the place like he was shooting off fireworks or something. Its sad times when you can't even get high at a concert.

It was Echo (Arco) although the sound was much better for the Eagles than the Dixie Chicks a month earlier. They did all their good Eagles stuff intertwined with Frey's, Henley's and Walsh's solo work. No opening act. 3.5 to 4 hours of good music, at least to my liking.

The Chicks concert was a really good stage show and I love their energy. The crowd was magnificent. I've never been to a concert where it was 90% women with the majority between the ages of 20 and 30. Just the people watching was worth the price of admission. This would be what my heaven would look like except the girls would be naked, I wouldn't be married and the beer would be cheaper.
