Can we talk about the perfect breast size?

I have no personal favorite. In the past I sometimes used measurements but I don't do that anymore. I prefer to use adjectives like "small" or "large and let the reader decide what that means.

Most of what you hear men love big breasts but when you really look at the outstanding women now they are in the range of 34b to c. My wife was and daughter is 34b and looks so stunning .

I know this is like polling everyone’s favorite flavor of ice cream, but I’m curious what the size of choice is for your female character’s? I always describe my heroin’s in terms of cup size or bra size with 34C being the boob du jour. According to Celeb Health Mag’s website: Scarlett Johansson, Alexandra Daddario, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kaley Cuoco, Brittney Spears, and Diane Lane all fall into the 32-36C range. Can we go wrong there?
I'm generally a bigger-is-better kind of guy when it comes to boobs, but I find it incredibly naff to mention a bra-size. All the female characters in my stories are curvy and busty.

in passing, there is NO WAY Alexandra Daddario is a C-cup. I've seen True Detective; she's a big girl.

Cup sizing is not static, it has to be read in context with the band size.

Nor is cup sizing volumetric.

And then there's the fun "vanity sizing" that some retailers like to engage in to make clientele feel boosted. (Victoria's Secret is she's a liar. :ROFLMAO: )

Add in the context of movie magic and approximation of anything is pretty much mostly speculative.

*edit* Which is why I contend writing specifics is in service of psychological fetishists who've shorthanded our proportions but have zero understanding of bodies other than what they were told by mainstream media consumption is what's "good" and ideal feminine.

I use the breast size the character in the story calls for. If they fit her frame all is good. Just make sure they are in the front.

It's all good when they're in front. Elsewhere would raise too many questions, altho I am doing a story right now where centaurs are involved. I'm wondered whether centaur foals would breast-feed, a la the humanoid half, or would they feed as per mares and foals. The dilemma's we all face when going off the beaten track.

Unless you have a fetish for breasts why bother quoting sizes????
Personally, I think it detracts from the story and is a compleetely worthless piece of information.
When I write a character, and she is female... She might be trim, graceful with long legs and luscious breasts... That's enough...
IMO... It's like quoting dick sizes... It's irrelevant information...
If your female character is curvy, or voluptuous She will have breasts relative to her body shape...
If she is slender, or skinny... She will have breasts in proportion to her body size...

This nothing more than my opinion... I am not an experienced writer.

I would presume they'd need to do both. The internal anatomy is questionable, but as generally depicted, they look like they probably have both human and horse stomachs, and therefore might be expected to need to fill both with appropriate foodstuffs. Leaving aside nutritional merits, a fast-growing foal would likely need a very large volume of milk, so even with huge human(oid) breasts working overtime, they might reasonably need to use all ports, so to speak.

Just don't do the whole story in second person, that chaps my tenderloin when someone writes in second person.
Agree on the lazy writing, but perfection is in the eye of the beholder, or at least the narrator.*

*Of late, I'm writing in the first person 😉

American Writer: Her breasts were 34 C.
Non-American Reader: They were 34 Celsius? That's pretty hot! Well, for air temperature, anyway; kind of cool for a body.

I'm honestly moving away from being too descriptive when it comes to sizes. I will comment on a woman having bigger boobs after a pregnancy, maybe have a scene where two characters are standing next to each other and are compared... but other than that?

I kinda reached the point where I believe that readers have their own ideals in their heads. I noticed that in myself as well when it came to the question of whether characters in stories should be shaved. If an author just doesn't mention it, most readers will automatically imagine the body part however they prefer to imagine it. So, unless it's somehow story relevant that the readers NEED to imagine the FMC with big boobs, I won't force them to.

The same goes for penises, by the way. I never tried to take one myself, but, given how I can't even stick my three-inch-long index finger down my throat without tickling my tonsils, I don't see why I need to give a character a ten-inch schlong to make a deepthroat believable.

I'm biased. The preference for me would be C-E, the band size is, meh. For myself smaller breasts are not where it's at, nor overly large. That being said, I think everyone is beautiful in their own way. Just for myself and what I want to write about, then it's me and my fellow busty gals. Folks mentioned that a description is better than cup size, but for me it's an easy way to create a mental image, especially for larger breasts, you could say a handful, but everyone's hands are different... I guess fruit is a good descriptor.

Hmm…one of us has a character nominated for Sexiest Female Character in the Literotica 2022 Readers Choice Awards and I don’t believe it’s you, so I’m going to assume my “honing” is just fine. Thank you.

As an avid reader, thank you. 🙌🏻

If when you sit down to start a new story and one of the cornerstones of it is that the female character has 34C (or any other specific size to fit your fetish) tits, it screams hack writer.

The ideal size is what suits the character for the story, if it even matters at all. If you can't make your character sexy regardless of body shape, your craft needs some big-time serious honing.

Start again.
Well folks I think we all ought to just toss it in 'cause PSG has the craft down pat and the rest of us know shit and are just hacks. Damn, but I was lookin' to give Mr. King some competition when I turn pro. It looks like PSG is going to have to do it for me 'cause I been usin' them breast sizes in my stories so my writing ain't up to snuf. Damn! Who'd a thunk it!

That's exactly why I use that descriptor. For breasts I usually use handful or mouthful and for dicks things like bigger than anyone she'd been with before, long and narrow, short with ample girth, etc.

People can fill in the details to their own likes specifications. If they have giant hands, they can picture giant breasts. Maybe the people she'd been with before barely hit 3" so the new guy is 3.5 or they were bigger and now she's taking a massive dick.

Choose your own genitalia size sexcapades!
That's actually really good advice. I think you've just changed my life.

my 'thing' has always been mature blonde ladies with big boobs, so that's where i usually go.

That’s about the stupidest take I’ve ever heard. None of us are publishing work here for Pulitzer consideration. I’m not getting paid and based on the scores from your published Lit offerings, I certainly hope you aren’t holding back the rent payment until the success of your work pays off. It seems just a bit hypocritical that you would publish stories to a site where you don’t respect the opinions of the audience.

Your feeble arguments bore me, but just one question?

Why so butthurt?

For me, using bra sizes in a story is a mood killer. 'Her 36DD breasts swung pendulously' does nothing for me. I sometimes use B-cup/C-cup in my stories though. I'm trying to get a little more descriptive; 'pert apples' 'rounded grapefruits'. Preference wise, I prefer small firm breasts. So does my husband, he married me after all. Anyway, anything bigger than a juicy Granny Smith would look ridiculous on my body.

One of my humorous stories starts:
"Hi!" I said cheerfully. "I'm Ali, a gorgeous blonde with 42DD breasts and legs that won't quit."
and for the life of me I can't remember why I chose that particular size.

With you on that one. Something like 36DD just throws me right out of the story and I won't continue reading. I don't ever use any bra sizes in my stories, and I certainly don't think of my own boobs in terms of bra size. I might if it fitting the story and the characters, but it would have to be worked in really carefully and in a way where it was actually important to the story, rather than just being thrown out there as a descriptor.

Now cock size is another story completely. LOL.

No, I'm afraid it didn't. There are two parts to a statement like yours: what was said and how it was said. What you said was an opinion, which you have every right to express and which I have every right to think is fertilizer. Which you did and I do. Innovative, entertaining stories don't come from following some formula. Especially not a formula dictated by a wannabe on a free porn site. Like everything in art, most good works come from breaking the rules, coloring outside the box, doing that which most say shouldn't be done and forging a work that people enjoy.

How you said it displays much about you. The utter arrogance and narcissism displayed by the essence of your statement, "you're a freakin' no talent hack if you don't do it like I think you should" speak volumes. It's rather entertaining to watch because you haven't a clue as to how much you are telling about yourself.

And besides, I'm with Drax:

"Nothing goes over my head. My reflexes are too fast. I would catch it." :sneaky:

WhoooWaaa!

Slim, full, heavy, buoyant, compact, jiggly, ripe, enticing, perky, concealed, beautiful, proportionate, perfect, pale, tanned, unexplored, flat, cum splattered...

Describe, yes. Measure, no. On to my personal preference, I am attracted to slender women, most of whom have smaller breasts. I probably lean toward this type in my writing, although I endeavor to keep in mind the full range of female body types and branch out, especially when I'd like to contrast two women sharing a scene.

The only thing more annoying than "36DDs" is "perfect 36DDs". There isn't an objective standard here, people!

Your comment on cock size made me realize something, though. I write female characters with a variety of body types/breast sizes, but I NEVER write a male main character with anything less than an above average cock. Not that I provide measurements, but I make it clear they aren't small.
