Thank god for Des!

I was really feeling old with everyone talking about how when they were "little" they watched it on cable! Gee Whiz!

Cable wasn't even out until I was in my 20's or so!

If I remember correctly Gilligan's Island was on CBS. Yes, the old days were easier to pick what to watch wasn't it Des? Though we had four channels if you remember...don't forget not only CBS,NBC and the new kid ABC...but PBS. I remember when NBC started having all their programming in color...they made such a big deal about it that is when they got the Peacock as their symbol. Oh well, enough about being one of the elders on this board, I'm just glad there are others and hopefully some of the youngsters appreciate their more aged brethren.

Well, the adventures of my boyhood hero, the Professor, stopped being made the year before I was born, but I certainly watched them avidly on reruns. Every day. For at least a decade. Even did a reenactment of the vampire dream episode in 4th grade. (I was Gilligan in that one... Vampire Gilligan, that is!BWWWWAAAHAHAH!)

60's? I remember watching tv in the 50's. In some ways I liked it better. Yes, not the selection nowadays, but honestly most of what is on is garbage and most of the shows then were pretty well done.

Had a talk with my gf today...she's looking for sure for another job but also is possibly just going to quit and get an MBA/Law degree. We'll have to see what the best thing is to do.
