Hello and a Happy Hump Day to all!

artful the last I heard, jeri was home and on her way to a full recovery. But that has been quite a while ago. So I don't have any current news.

I have been gone for a while and I am catching up on what I have missed. I do have one observation so far.

Bishop I think your unique posts are really wasted here. A posting style like yours deserves the General Board! Posting there will give you all the attention you so richly deserve. I think you will really fit in there.

I have missed the "old" posters and really want to welcome the new ones. I will try and do my best to keep this thread back on page 1 where it has stayed for so long.

hello- I am a friend of SCBlondetiger. I'm currently using her computer and she wanted me to get on here and let ya'll know that she is very sick and deeply misses the interesting discussions that you have on here. My name is Quinn and I'll be popping in and out to give her messages and such from this thread. She says she misses all of you deeply and wants to thank ya'll for the support that ya'll have shown in the short time that she's been on here.

Incase you are wondering- she does nothing but sleep pretty much all the time( but it's not mono), has an extremely sore throat which makes it painful to swallow, both of her ears hurt and she has some sinus congestion. She isn't in the hospital, and is at home. She went to the Doctors on tuesday and they said it was just a virus.

Hey, y'all! Don't worry about me or geri. We are both really, really busy in RL, but are doing just fine otherwise. geri got out of the hospital last week, and is putting in extra time at work to make up for the lost time. I'm just up to my armpits in busystuff, so posting is just right out for now, and probably for the next couple of weeks. I'll try and stick my head in every couple of days though, since I start to miss y'all sumpin fierce!

Enjoy the Spring, as it done sprung allllll over the place! (Damn the pollen, though!)

For spradlin: The "car wash thingy" is a toy first brought up by Desdemona. It would seem that several of her friends here (geri, Dawn, lovetoread) have some knowledge of the purpose and use of this thing. I had *never* seen such a thing before and thought it was a photo of the circular brushes used in an automatic carwash. I don't know what the attraction is to having your car washed/brushed with this thing. But several of the ladies here think it is the only way to go. I am attaching the original photo Des posted.

well i have to agree with geri, dawn and lovetoread about the carwash thingy i have had a few experiences with it and can't wait for more.
