Yeah, I agree. We should wait, but if it's too long of a wait, we will have to leave her behind. Of course, Naden could interact with us in some way, if he could pull himself away from the wine long enough. Or Arisu could interact, if she decides to. I think I'll give Tia until Thursday, and then we move on.
To be quite honest, Naden is starting to seem like your average drunk to me. No real point to his being here. He has money and is taking advantage of the people in the tavern. If I were to suggest something, try and clean him up a bit, Wargarble. Also, if he missed our group entering, he must be blind. No offense intended.

1. He's not sloppy, but right now he wants to be drunk as a distraction from his own thoughts, as he does after many jobs.
2. He's so focused on himself right now that he is completely ignoring the mood of the room and most of the people in it.
3. I assumed that since he was facing the bar he had his back to the door and thus doesn't see anyone coming in.
4. At the moment he has no reason to talk to the group at the table. Naden isn't some holy crusader on some quest on which he needs companions, he's a general of a defeated army who now sells his skills with the sword for coin to scrape out a living no matter how unsavoury the job.
I'm doing my best to keep him active in the IC but I'm running out of ideas. Vushlo and Leo have their shared goals in serving lady death which they think Adrienne is somehow involved in and Namennarg seems to be on some investigation so they interact quite naturally.
Naden is there because he is out of drink, he doesn't have a higher purpose and that wasn't a prerequisite for joining this RP. If you want him to get involved then you're gonna need to give him a reason. You can't just huddle together in a corner and expect that every person walking by will be irresistably drawn to whatever it is you're doing.
Sorry if I'm stepping on toes here but having him act otherwise would go against the character he is supposed to be so I won't do it. Also, no offence taken from the observations guys, I'm glad that you're taking the time to notice.

Wargarble I understand your character can't just jump in, but so far only three of us has a reason to work together. I think the only way to get your character involved would be to actually hire him or have some sort of reason for him to join the group as Fate has spoken, Naden will turn out to be in the group in some way or another BWHAHAHAHAHA....OK so my evil laugh needs to get worked on.

Obviously the next few posts IC by other people will precede the end of my post so whatever happens happens and then some.
[EDIT] I see that someone just decided to state that my character was present. Don't do it, you don't control my character and now I have to change my next IC post so that he already arrived and stood there like an idiot saying nothing because the fact has been established.

Yeah, go ahead and make a character. You'll have to find a way to work yourself into the story, but that shouldn't be too hard. If you want, I have some ideas as to how your character would become involved with us, but that's only if you really can't think up a way. Just post all your character's stuff in here, using the template that I laid out in the first post in this thread. Just no Jedi, because I don't think lightsabers would fit in with this story. Oh, and about you not having read WoT, it's fine. The only thing I pulled from those books was the map, and my character's weapon. We won't be using anything else from the books.

As Ancalimon says, WoT knowledge is not needed.
As for storyboard roleplaying, think of it as writing a book, but you only write the part of one character.
Look at your DnD character sheets. Take away the stats and what do you have? Details on what your character looks like, what race they are, how old they are and what weapon they normally use, right? You may also have some funky powers or magic in there somewhere.
Add a little bit of personal history (but you don't need to tell us what it is, reveal it bit by bit during the story as your character talks to ours) and make sure your character has a personality. That's it, nothing more required.

Race: Lythari (Wild Elf, With a Shape Shifter Subtype)
Profession: Bounty Hunter
Weapons: None that you can see.

That was also something I was curious about. This is no SRP, but I noticed several occasions where someone has made an intimate move with someone else. Are we just going to make this one, or shall I begin acting disgusted and reprimanding everyone for doing such a vile thing? Haha.
