The same kittens... 4 months apart.

Saw so many friendly kitties today while out working. All sweetly meowing for some love. Wish I could bring them all home. 😁
I go to a local PetCo that works with a shelter group and has a kitten adoption every Saturday. It’s an exercise in self control not to leave without one.

Winston kitten always tries to sneak out of the house, which we don’t allow due to our high traffic street. Today he thought he was slick slipping through a hole in the screen but then freaked out once he realized he was actually outside. My daughter had to go outside, scoop him up and bring him back in. As i type this he is trying to figure out how to get the window open so he can do it again.

The thing that keeps me reining it in is the cost and I have to pay extra pet fees here in my apartment. Or I’d take them all home too.

It would be amusing to see Winston with some little pals, but...
I was thinking about your tales of Winstonisms when I got my babies… that is partly why I got two. Which usually works out well, they spend a whole lot of time attacking each other. 🤣🤣🤣

My wife freely admits she made a mistake just getting one. We previously got kittens in pairs.

I’ve been looking for another for our new one. He looks to be about 6 months old and could benefit from another to play with.
Winston is a year and a half. Our other cat is 17 and wants nothing to do with him. We also have a dog and he and Winston get along pretty well.

Before he passed away last month, my Yorkie was NOT happy to have the cat here. He was all kinds of jealous of him and I think he was afraid of him as well.

When we got the dog he was a baby and was raised with cats. He LOVES cats. When our old cat died my wife specifically looked for kittens that had been fostered with dogs. When the foster lady brought him over Winston made a beeline for the dog and they've ben pals ever since.

My pitbull gets jealous of the kitties too. One of the kittens comes and lays with my dog and rubs up against her, and she doesn’t seem to mind. It is cute to watch. 🥰🥰🥰

I had a golden lab in my mid teens that LOVED having the kittens playing on or around him. Never ceases to make me smile.
