Comments That Make Your Day

Recently published "Shadows" in Non-Erotic, a story told by a man, near death, reflecting on the time since his wife died and the nature of grief.
GreyMatter commented "Been there....doing that."
Makes me feel that I got it right.

This Anonymous guy sometimes actually writes nice comments, too!
I liked this one particularly, Artist in the Park:
I had a boss one time who gave speeches. Listening to him was like reading a good book. In your case reading your stories is like reading a good book. In this particular instance you have applied pastels on canvas with a storyline that thoroughly complements your writing skill set and leads one wondering if you paint as well as you write.
A little weird, but flattering.

And I guess I can write even better than he thinks, because I can't paint for shit...

You made that shit up, Em!
Or it is an imposter. It’s extremely unlikely that he finally grew up, that’s for sure.
I regularly get nice comments from 26thNC. Not always, but pretty often, even in my reconciliation stories.

What a great story, that has all elements needed for a LW story. Cheating, tension, confrontation with the cheaters. You kept the suspense going up until the surprising end. I was certain that someone was going to get shot. The blank cartridge was genius, and forcing the bastard to take a shot at his lover was cold. You know your weapons too. You explained the difference between magazines and clips, and even included the notorious Garand thumb. Garand thumb on a freezing morning is one painful son of a bitch, it only happened once to me. Great effort for a first story, and I’m looking forward to your next one.

He is… quite opinionated. Hates infidelity. Also very critical of poor writing, bad plotting, characterization, etc.

I'm blown away by this, especially considering what others have said about the commenter. This is on my Crime and Punishment story, Vengeance is Mine

Excellent story! You killed it, literally, with that one. That lady was a force of nature who left no
loose ends. Really a Dynamite story and easy *5.

Wow, such a prodigious writer, PM commented on my story. Quite flattered.

“You really should write more. You have the ability to write really well. And if your other adventures are anywhere near as fun, you’ll be a popular author. I will follow you so I catch anything you write.

I also wanted to say I love the good spirit, love and respect you wrote with. You and your (wife) are portrayed lovingly, more of that is needed on the site. I love wife sharing/Hotwife stories, or whatever you want to call them, but sometimes the stories just get, heavy handed would be a good way to say it.

Good luck. Write on!”

Very nice comment from our own @seraph_nocturne on The Devil And Angel Em. Thank you so much!

A wonderfully penned story. Safe to say the small nuances you've allotted surrounding the religious aspects made this story pop. I loved your Cozbi, and really what isn't to love about a smoking hot demoness playing the fields of good and evil? All the same, you find balance contributed with Emily, even if those scenes were also hot degenerate filth, but hey, this is Literotica and people aren't here to read watered down smut amiright? An easy five stars from me, my thanks for the recommendation Djmac!

Oh and the prequel, The Seduction Of Darkness, drops tomorrow for anyone interested!

I'm very proud of how it came out; hope my readers feel the same.

A lovely start of weekend gift left on Crazy Camping Neighbor:

One of the main problems that I have reading the majority of stories on Literotica is that they are so poorly written. You, however, have not made a single faux pas or gramattical mistake. The you competed that with a superb plot, extremely well told. I have found an author that I love. As others have said 5*. There again maybe 6* or 7*!

There's no swords and very little sorcery in my latest story, The Seduction Of Darkness, but Anonymous was in such a kind mood I'm not gonna break it to them. 😀

Very well done, extremely entertaining. Always been a fan of the Sword and Sorcery genre, this is a delightful twist to it. Please keep writing.

So fortuitous to find this thread, as I got my best comment ever just a few days ago, and shortly after re-discovering Lit. Forums. It was by @electricblue66 for Twelve Maxbridge Street. THANK YOU, ElectricBlue!!!!

MHK,

As I read this, Story of O immediately came to mind, and I see you've acknowledged Reage.

The club contained what I can only describe as elegant depravity. The movement in the story is slow, beautifully paced, your cast of tormenters, exotic.

I had no sense, during reading, that you're not a man - so I was astonished by your author's reveal. That's impressive, to carry a voice so consistently. Cudos.

Fine writing, indeed.

From my most recent story 'Mom Unlocks the Shyness Enigma.'

That was fun! You built your story like a puzzle, revealing bits and pieces of what was going on as the story progressed, like when you yada yada yadaes the anal sex with mom, only to revisit it in his thoughts, explaining what went down. Or UP!
While this story doesn’t say Part One anywhere, I definitely think it needs a Part Two- we don’t yet know just how clued in Dad is about it all, nor do we know how Thor(!) fairs with the fairer sex at large. Please consider it!
Thanks for writing! As i say: fun!

Not technically a comment, and not on one of my stories, but this little chef's kiss just made my morning.
An author I follow, @Fervid, just added this to the notes on his profile page.
It’s getting harder to be original about sex, so I’m going to work on character development. Sorry; you’re going to have to get to know some people.

I’ve been posting my backlog on another site, and I keep getting comments like, “Holy shit! These are characters with whole lives and motivations!” Kind of cracked me up.

This was feedback through the site, not a comment, and I'm guessing this person relies on some kind of translation program, but the sentiment seems sincere enough:
Thank you for writing Unusual Sex Toy, if you do move it to another boat, please let me know where. Thanks!
Ahoy!

I just got this on my Halloween entry, Baptism in Blood.
Outstanding job, more than worthy of a sequel
However, this isn't a sequel to Written in Blood. It's a story that's been on Amazon for several years. Written well before, Written in blood and not featuring the same vampire.
