Comments That Make Your Day

I believe creating dialog is one of my stronger points as a writer (and maybe the only one), so affirmation from a PM makes my day

"As always - outstanding explicit vocabulary. Well developed dialog."

Throughout history, the line between criminal and law enforcement has been rather amorphous. Historically, some men (and I'm sure women) have roamed on both sides of that ever-shifting line.
Prison guards very often come from the same sociopath-economic background as the inmates. While it might seem that ought to make them more sympathetic, it generally has the opposite effect. Having come from similar circumstances, those who retain their liberty and privileges are prone to become contemptuous of those who have not.

Nice comment on my Summer Lovin' entry, "Summer Heat"

Romantic, sexy, believable and fun. I'm new around here but I will certainly be catching up with some of your other works in the near future. Great read!

Got this on Literature and Lust, my little less-than-serious entry for the Crime and Punishment event:

Wow. That was so delightfully corny. "A classic for the ages."

What, phrases like "panting like a sheepdog in the Sahara" and "she had more curves than a highway through the Alps" are corny? ;-)

The only comment on my republished A Small Sacrifice so far.

You have a gift for conjuring story plots. Your writing is clean, not riddled with glaring typos and grammatical errors. You need time to develop your craft, WW. Just remember, YOU are the only one who can hold you back from improving and growing as a writer. I sincerely like this story and think it's clever. It's a classic short-story and leaves your readers wanting to read more. Congrats! Well done!

The comment made my day!

I got this through the anonymous feedback system

You write well, very well, and you are humorous. Does funny, non-consensual sex exist? If not, you have an opportunity to create a new genre.

I can only assume that this person read Test Subjects? That story is intentionally laughable, with as many funny, dirty names for sex as I could manage to squeeze in.

I love it when readers appreciate the little stuff:

Great story, Constories. Nice to see a story where the author gets the nomenclature of the guns correct. I will say that Elizabeth is one woman I would ‘Definitely’ not want to piss off.

Thanks for the story, I liked it. A lot.

5 stars.
I put quite a lot of research into that story, ensuring that I kept all the terms correct. It's fantastic to see someone who's grateful for all that hard work. Haha

A recent comment on Turbulent Past, Tempestuous Present. Its theme has a retired CIA type getting drawn back into action by a woman who sought him out for revenge but put that on hold for a while... Currently rated 4.7.

"Absolutely the most magnificent epic ever posted on Literotica. Would LOVE to see this continue in more chapters, or maybe a published novel."

Oops, and you shouldn't. I'm reading one of the Crime and Punishment's right now, but it is by MelissaBaby—my very bad. Why I thought it was you, haven't a clue. Both handles begin with M, maybe?

If I were a smart woman, I'd delete the comments. But I'm not a smart woman, and I have this box of chocolates. You never know what you get in a box of chocolates.

I forgive you. For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure MelissaBaby is not a mediocre author, so your assertion was mostly correct. 🤭
