L'oh

IC:
To Drec, "Neither am I. I would much rather sneak up behind my target, and finish it quickly. Ranged attacks only alert others to your presence, and then you have to worry about many instead of one."

Moving closer to Drec and looking him in the eyes, L'oh asks him, "I'm sure a ruged man such as yourself carries sufficient protection. May I see it?"

OOC: I am going to try and Intimidate Drec... Rolled 25. And don't worry; my reason for doing this will be made clear as soon as Drec makes his counter-check.

OOC: Hope your happy I had to look up what I roll. 1d20 + character level or hit dice + wisdom bonus + modifier to saves on fear. 18.

IC: I smiled at the waitress, perhaps she was more of a rouge then I thought. The question was she any good at lock picking. 'I'm sure a rugged man such as yourself carries sufficient protection. May I see it?'

Was she coming on to me!? Crap she is a dominatrix. I scooted my chair away from and leaned a bit so Thor was in front of me. "So Thor here was just telling me he's never been with a human female." I pushed him forward a bit.

"Oh how'd my ale end up over there." I stood up walked around Thor so I was on the opposite side of the table compared to her. I then quickly reached over grabbed my ale and took a swig. "So new topic. You know what color I hate, black. Especially in leather. Can't stand it."

I took another gulp. Maybe if I am really careful I won't end up in a dungeon tonight.

OOC: This seemed fun.

Thor sits back and refills his ale from his mug. Wacthing the two chat he chuckles at Drec.

"You scared of such a weak women? In my village they would have hung you by you ears you fool."

Thor laughs heartly holding his belly.

"I have always prefered just hacking the enemy to pieces. Of course I got my trusty crossbow for ranged attacks."

OOC: Busy week

Sorry folks,

I've been buried this week. I just read the backlog and I'll try to do some DMing by tonight. (Although fortunately much of it is inter-PC interaction). Be nice to the thief, boys. She's the one who's going to be able to find traps... Also, I think her threat was more along the lines of stealthy bodily injury than kinky sex. Hope there weren't any assassins listening in. You might have hurt their feelings.

Ooc:

Okay heres what happened in the worlds largest dungeon. Our rouge checks a door for traps, rolls a 2. "No traps fighter but the door seems stuck." Fighter oppens door to level 3 burning hands.

IC:

L'oh tries to reposition herself to be closer to Drec, but despite her best efforts, all she ends up doing is playing musical chairs. Deciding that this was not the appearance she wished to convey, L'oh dropped her attempt and settled into a seat directly accross from Drec, making sure not to make eye contact with Thor, who seemed to be enjoying the moment.

"Well, if you want to play it that way, then fine," she L'oh said to no one in particular. "In any case, I would still like to know about this crawler. I've never seen one, let alone battle one, so I'd like to be more prepared. In addition, I heard you mention something about money. Exactly how much is the reward, and what would my share come to?"

Drec

IC: I remained quiet and did my best to avoid eye contact.

OOC:
Hi, guys. I know we haven't been doing much here, but I'll be out for a while because my computer broke. I use a laptop, and the screen cracked so I have to send it in for repairs. I don't know when I'll get it back, so until then, if you still want to play, I believe DoS knows my character enough to play for me. Until I come back, good hunting and good luck!

Drec

IC: I eyed thor casualy waiting for him to answer. Perhaps one of the ladies would join us.

Happy Day! Oh Happy Day!

Yay! I finally got my computer back. However, it seems that everyone is taking off for the holidays, but I look forward to hearing from everyone soon.

Ooc

IC: DOS vanished unfortnetly. Drec and Ezmi are joining a second story.

Well, that... sucks!

While I'm sad this has ended prematurely, I'm curious to know if anyone knows what happened to DoS?

Bad, naughty DM

Hi folks,

I'm really sorry about the disappearing act. I was internetless for a while and I've hit a point in my life where my free time is asymptotically approaching zero. I've intended to sign on and say goodbye for a while now, but been interrupted by one thing or another each time.

As you may have guessed, I won't be able to DM this game any more. If someone else wants to take over, they should absolutely go for it. I'll still be around on Lit every once in a while, but, simply put, I can't afford the time to be as active as I'd like to be.

So, I'll bid you guys adieu and hope that you can find a good game. Take care, all!
