There is a lot of wonderful advice in the postings I have read. But the three words I have read through it all, conveys my feelings as well “Take No Prisoners.”

I do feel your pain, what is it with people, with so many wonderful things our limited life offers they have to spend their time causing trouble. But I have met people in my life that thrive on conflict.

What your neighbors hasn’t yet realized. Is if this person manages to force you out she will not be happy and will choose another neighbor as her new target. And the attacks will begin again.

People like that are actually not mad at you; they are taking their frustrations of their miserable existence, out on you. In their closed minds they most remain on top of the pile of manure to feel they are accepted. Its human nature to push people to their limits, to create a base line that will govern all future relationships with said individual.

I do write erotica but I do conceal it with pen names. I work in an executive level position and found that discretion on my part to be important.

I also had a neighbor back in 2001 that tried the same thing with me but was never able to pinpoint anything definite on me. Of course my situation escalated to physical attacks. Such as the neighbors kids shooting BB guns at my kids.

Of course I relied on the deteriorating legal system in this country and began my campaign of documenting. I filmed everything, and was able to produce some wonderful footage of verbal assaults and criminal trespass. This along with numerous police reports which did win me a permanent restraining order against the family.

Finally the “coup de gra” came when I researched the family background on the Internet and found that the father was in fact a registered pedophile on probation from another state. Of course this information was anonymously distributed around the neighborhood. And within a month we had new neighbors who like me, just want to be left alone.

The best advice I can give is document everything. Build your case now, don’t wait until it is too late. Your attorney is only as effective as you make him, give him the weapons of proof.

It is apparent to me that this situation will end up in a civil court. And the party with the sharpest sword will win.

In answer to a few questions...no, my daughter wasn't home. She wasn't even in the same country. I thought it was hilarious that they tried to pin 'flower picking' on a little girl who was vacationing on St. Thomas at the time of the alleged 'crime'.

Second...more than one person has asked me about my name. I write under a pseudonym. Quite a few people have sent me PMs concerned about safety and the like...but yes, there are very few people who know my 'real' name. Which is a very good thing at this point.

So far, a very quiet weekend this has been...I'm surprised, frankly, but I think my attorney is starting to get through to them with the fact that they don't want to pursue this whole thing.

sheth, I'm sorry about this. It's ridiculous how intolerant people are. But it seems to me you've exhausted every recourse - except involving the lawyer. If you don't want to move, I think you should involve the lawyer as soon as possible. I hate to sound like a litigous American but I think you have every right to live peacefully without being harrassed - so call the lawyer today.

Just checking in.
I can understand the frustration of your daughter being accused of picking the flower when she wasn't even in the country. My son was accused of starting a fire in a shed at an abandoned house. (the shed had been used for a meth lab, the owners went to jail) But, my son was in the hospital for an appendectomy (sp?!?) at the time.

The latest...Debbie's mother yelled across the yards at my children, telling them to "Get in your house!"...while they were playing no less than three yards from our own back door. Unfortuantely for her, I heard that and stepped out onto the porch. She knew she was caught, and her face turned white. I invited her to say that one more time, to me...I asked her if she was brave enough to say that to an adult rather than innocent little kids. She went into the house and slammed the door so hard she rattled the walls.

The kids are happy, though...they start school tomorrow morning, and Debbie's kids aren't in their schools. YAY!

1. File a defamation of character suit.

Working on it...it probably won't stick, but it will scare the bejesus out of her, which is good enough for me, lol.

2. Move next door to me. There's a nice house on an acre lot.

Lord have mercy...can you imagine all the fun we could have if we lived within the same block? It's worth considering!

Also, do you know of any people in the local media who are friendly or sympathetic to you? Perhaps they would be interested in the lady who is hounding CPS with false allegations....

Yep...and the particular gentleman I have in mind is just dying to get something into print. Last I heard, he and the local editor were working on a story that not only focused on Debbie, but on the stereotypes used against artists of all kinds, not just writers of erotica.

My poor neighbors have no idea what they started.

Good question...at this point? I want to see karma come around. I would love to see the media descend on her with stories of her husband's drug rings, and ask publicly how SHE could be possibly fit to be a good mother in the midst of all that...then when she tries to defend herself, point out that she did the very same thing to me.

But you know, living well IS the best revenge. She had a problem with me, with the media attention, with everything surrounding me...now it is in her face and she can't do a damn thing about it but make allegations that are turning around to bite HER in the ass. And when she least expects it, on her television and in her paper and in interviews on her radio, she finds ME. Poor thing.

I haunt her without even trying. And I get a nice twinge of satisfaction from that.

Does that make me a bitch? Oh, well. *snicker*

Hmmm...are you sure your neighbors didn't move to Tennessee to live beside me?

What happened? Did they get into any sort of trouble for falsely accusing your son?

Pretty much nothing. The cops did tell him to shut up. But basically, he claimed mistaken identity and that he was 'sorry'. So the cops did nothing. They did quit harassing my son so much. Partly because they realized the guy just had it in for my son, partly because the FBI investigated the department, found a lot of bad apples, and forced the city to can most of them. Very complicated story and I'm not going to sidetrack your thread. My ordeal is over. Your's isn't and you're the one that needs the support now.

A small update of sorts...

Remember the sassy, nice neighbor who had no problem introducing herself and inviting me to dinner? We made plans for that dinner this week, then they will come over to my place once hersixstring is back in town. It's gonna be great.

This morning, another neighbor showed up on my doorstep with a basket full of beautiful things from her garden. She just wanted to tell me that she is sorry these things are happening, and let me know (in no uncertain terms) that she enjoys having us around. I felt so content after she left...and her homegrown tomatoes are GOOD.

The tide is turning, that's for sure.

Sheath I think you should find out just exactly how many of your neighbors support you and when this is all over you should all go to Debbies house and tell her that you forgive her and that you want to be friends. One of 2 things will happen. She will see the error of her ways and become a better person (yeah like that is going to happen) or she will feel as thought the whole neighborhood is out to get her and she will end up moving. Either way works for me.
