Dear Spouse,

I don't know how to do this anymore. You're able to sleep when chaos is raining down on us. I know it is not your fault that you and I handle stress differently. I went to bed early, so as not to think about it, and when I wake up in the middle of the night, I can't help but think about it, and so I can't sleep.

Do you know that for the first time in my life, I believe I'm close to becoming physically ill because of the strain. Tonight I fought the urge to throw up and I'm still fighting the urge to not cry. I'm not angry at you, the situation we're in is not your fault. You made decisions that I agreed with, because they were the ones we needed at the time to try and fix our relationship. We are better than we were, but this is making it tougher.

You already know what is wrong, and me crying on your shoulder certainly isn't going to do either of us any good, so I got out of bed so you could sleep. I wish I could be more like you, I wish I could not constantly think about tomorrow, to sleep through the night and wake up mostly refreshed. I don't even have to be up this early this morning, I could have slept till 3:10 since our nephew's working overtime, but here I sit and there you are sleeping and I admit I'm jealous over that. *sigh*

Signed,

Your scared wife

Dear Personal Trainer,

Please do not work me too hard tonight as my muscles are still screaming from Monday nights workout.

Agree to disagree, I don't think he intended to hurt him, but I do think he was a little reckless and it could have been so much worse, given how Clerc landed. If you are suggesting there is any measure of control on how someone lands when you drop them upside down from 3-4 feet high when you're off balance, then I'd like to see whether you'd let someone do it to you?

And you didn't say it, but that's the feeling across a large part of the country in question, which is where I live - there are even facebook campaigns trying to get Rolland banned from international refereeing and have the game played again and his morals and integrity are being called into question all over the place - quite frankly, I think it's disgusting and a total cop out because once again they didn't have the skill to close out a game they should have won, 14 men or not...

Agree to disagree indeed. I thought he let up pretty well, but I had the benefit of watching the video a number of times. I also contend M. Clerc ran inside without accounting that one of the best #7's in the world was lurking without benefit of even trying to fend off.

As for wanting to be dropped like that myself, I played for 15 years and coached for 10. I'm happy to say that kind of tackle was rare. I'm not sure why asking me if I want to be dropped like that is relevant, but I assure you, I went into most every tackle situation looking to protect myself. So, my answer is, not even Sam Warburton could do that to me. ;)*

On a serious note, is it me, or are we seeing more of these types of tackles?

At the end of the day, Alain Rolland made the correct call. SW maybe should have paid attention to all the previous suspensions handed down during the tourney.

Also, Wales did themselves in. They left enough points on the table to win handily, even a man down.

Dear Online Gov't website,

Yes, I know filling out the application online is the fastest and easiest way to get answers, however because your website insists on crashing every time I get to the end of the process, I've now resorted to printing it out and will mail it to you, or try one more time online before putting that stamp on the envelope.

Dear Cheetos company,

Why do you allow the cheesiness of your product to stick to my fingers. I really like your snack, but I don't enjoy sucking cheese dust off my fingertips.

From,

Me.

Dear woman of my dream

Ive seen you online everday now and i still cant get the nerve up to send you a pm and tell you i want you in everyway possible.

Dear you,

I find it odd that I can relate to both of your posts. I too am the "up in the night worry about it one" (mostly). And sometimes that upsets me. I don't presume to know how to solve your problem, but I can say this: I have come to realize (sometimes...when I realize it...) that the differences between my wife and I are both what makes our relationship work and sources of our greatest conflicts. Her ability to remain calm when all hell is breaking loose is sometimes the thing that get us through, and sometimes it's because she fails to understand the gravity of the situation. My job is to use her calmness to make it always the former, even when the latter is true.

Also, I love cheetos and the cheese schmag is difficult. However, as a gentleman, I would be happy to handle licking/suckng the cheese dust off your fingers...or anywhere else...

Signed

Yeah, I'm butting in...so what??? ;)

Dear "Yeah, I'm butting in...so what??? ;) "

Thanks for all of that, and of course for the gentlemanly offer to lick and suck the cheese dust off my fingers, I guess had I known that you would be so willing I wouldn't have plucked the one out of my cleavage that accidentally fell there.

Sincerely,

Cheesy Tits

Curiouser and curiouser

Dear X
I am hugely curious now and I do wonder if I am thinking along the same lines as you. I am having a chuckle just thinking about it. Let me know. :D

Dear Upper Respiratory crap,

GO AWAY! I'd love to not feel like my stomach's been through an ab workout from coughing.

Plus, my bestest girl is coming this weekend.

Thank you.

Ever tried eating them with chopsticks? Works great.

Dear Life,

Do I look like a salmon ? Swimming upstream is really wearing me out. Can't you give a girl a break ?

You must know who I am by now...no need for a sig.

Dear you,

You really expect me to keep up with your life via FB? After being friends for that long...really?

Fuck that.

Dear You,

When I was still freshly new here at the playground you insinuated something about me on a thread. At the time I was unsure of myself and completely thrown by what you wrote. I didn't know how to respond so I logged off almost fearful that you could see the expression of shock on my face.

Now I'm more sure of myself. In fact I'm completely sure of myself and if I could turn back the hands of time I would say this, fuck you and the fucking horse you rode in on you fuckin' fuck.

In closing may I add go fuck yourself.

Signed,

A far different Tekgirl

Dear Fiance of my BFF AKA The Biggest Piece of Shit on the Planet,

How DARE you say the things you said today to one of the sweetest, most wonderful women I have ever had the privilege to know on this planet. HOW FUCKING DARE YOU!!! She loves you and devotes her life to you and the kids, one of whom is not her responsibility to raise, but she does it anyway. She cowers in fear of you and cries all the time. Do you feel like a big man when you make her cry and call her names? You are PATHETIC. You want to call her a scumbag?? It's called projection and you're making Kristen a victim of it. You need only look in the mirror to see who the REAL scumbag is. Here's a hint, meathead, in case your brain cells don't fire at a high enough rate to figure it out....YOU'RE THE SCUMBAG!!! So your mom killed herself a few weeks ago...that doesn't give you the right to treat the woman you love like shit. And I'm not buying it as an excuse because you've been treating Kris like shit for awhile now. You try to control her and tell her nothing she ever does is right. You belittle her. You condescend to her. You treat her like she is an idiot and a child. She is neither of those things. Open your eyes and realize what a gift you've been given by being with her. There are tons of guys out there ready to take your place. TONS OF GUYS. All of whom will treat her far better than you ever could. She is the mother of your child. Treat her with the respect, gratitude, and love that she is due. If you make her cry again, I swear to God, I will make you cry. I don't care what a hulking neckless bodysculpting manwhore you are, I can still reach your kneecaps and do significant damage. "I pick things up and put them down....I pick things up and put them down". You keep it up, I'm putting YOU down like the evil vindictive dog you are!!

Sincerely,
Your Girl's Devoted Best Friend and Your New Mortal Enemy

P.S. If you EVER take her clothes and throw them off the deck again, I'm throwing YOU off the deck. And if you ever, EVER call her the names I heard you call her today ever again....I promise you this. I will kill you. That is not a threat. It is a promise. I might be smaller than you, but I know guys much much bigger than you. And they're family. Do you comprehend what I'm saying? I know it's hard with your muscles crowding your brain cells and all, but try real, real hard.

Dear Daughter,

Yes, it is me again. The scores for your and your sister's SATs are in and I am writing this now, because I know exactly what you're going to say when you look at her scores and yours. So I'm preparing myself early...

No, it doesn't mean she's smarter than you, it means she applies her strengths differently than you do. She's not better than you and you have the potential to make those same scores or score higher if you wanted. But you don't have to, it isn't the most important thing in the world.

You have decided to walk a different path, it doesn't have to be the path that leads down a road of straight A's. I'm perfectly fine with your scores, and I don't think you have anything to concern yourself with. You know the rules in this house, as long as you do not purposely slack off and become lazy I'm very happy with grades that are average. I don't take below average because I know none of you kids have reasons to not at least try. You all can read, write and do exceptionally well. I'm proud of all of you.

I know though that you're not going to see this. You're going to mope around and ho-hum about it, and yes most likely be grumpy for a while. Remember your strengths are ones your sister wishes she had. She would love to draw like you, hold a camera and capture things on film like you, she wishes she had your spunk and "no holds bar" attitude and wasn't so easy to walk on. She often wants to be able to throw caution to the wind and tell herself that it is okay to get a B or C every once in a while. But alas, she can't because well that is who she is.

Please, don't try compare yourselves, but I know you will... I too had sisters I longed to be, but looking back... I'm so glad I am who I am.

Love your mom.

Dear Life,

Welp, this is it. In 24 hours I will be at an event that I probably should have not agreed to go to as you know as well as I how utterly bored I will be. Oh sure, maybe, by some quirk of quantum physics, I will be somewhat engaged and possibly even entertained, but I'm not counting on it.

In that vein, could you possibly throw me something to help me endure the evening? I'm not asking for much, almost anything will do. Someone who will talk about something other than their kids or reality tv shows would be appreciated.

If you're really feeling generous, maybe the woman I have been using as a basis for one of my stories, for the last SEVEN months, could sidle up and make some double entendre remarks to get me back in the writing mood. Even better would be, well, you know.

You know that I don't ask much, if anything, from anyone for I am routinely disappointed. If you could see your way to giving me a pass in this situation I'll give you a pass on one of the stunts you thought would be funny to play on me in the past.

Signed,

Deserving of a break if for no other reason than it's my time

"Dear" X
I DO deserve privacy. If you wont give it to me, I'll have to take it.

Dear Secretary of State,

I will be there when you open, paperwork in hand, ready to do the deed. Please don't be crowded, please don't be rude, please be quick and efficient.

That is all...thanks!

Dear Flu Shot,

Please do not make me ill. I've had enough of it today.

Dear X,
you may stop your little digs, grow a pair and say what you have to say to me- directly.
