Yes we do the Flu shot, or a nasal spray type.

Had a buddy telling me about a 45 day stay over he had in Brisbane. Whoo hoo. I am going to have to get there. I'll buy you a drink Trisk,;) since the bars don't really close and the girls aren't all that interested in long conversations, dancing and taking more than one drink to decide to fuck a guy. And letting him know it!

lol I was born a Briso. The heat makes for a more laid back lifestyle. Went back there for a Lit meet in March. Forgot how bloody humid it gets.

A lot further south these days. A lot bloody colder, too!

An iffy sunny day here. Back to below 60F. Hope the upoming long weekend is hotter as the rodeo is coming.

Ours is in April. My favourite event is the kids buckin calves. Have my heart in my throat the whole time, but those youngsters are determined.

Our max temps are similar to yours then, atm. We're betweeb53 and 57 all week. Nights around 22.

I the rodeo on your island or do you have to leave and hit a mainland? Is it US or Canadian?

Triske How did your play go? Was it a naked Mime version of modern twister?

It's on Sat. Matinee at 2, evening at 7. Then next weekend.

Sounds ok. My foot is still playing up. The spur hasn't gone, so I had a cortisone injection this afternoon. Hurt like hell!!! I think the cure is worse than the ailment! But it means I'll be fully mobile on stage. At the moment it's Mabel meets the witches from 'the Scottish play'.

I'm glad Deej is back from Texas. That tornado was a doozie. Hope everyone you know and love is safe and well. :rose:

Ach, that wee play be damned for it's spots and big hags. My Lord Mac Beth was set up by his missus. Lies it all is, lies and poppy cock!!

Well there were no hags or homicides on stage today. :)

Both the matinee and evening performance went well. We had the audience howling with laughter. So I'm a very happy vegemite, tonight!

Not a fan of the vegemite sandwitch!!
Met a man in bombay, bla bla bla then he offered me a Vegemite sandwich. From a land down under... Bla bla bla

Ahhhhh the sexy Trisk from down under. I really need to get there one day.

Ewww...vegemite :)

Yummo!!!!

My daughter, weird little anklebiter that she was, insisted on vegemite, cream cheese and avocado sandwiches for preschool. I find that a stretch, although it wasn't bad. Just looks foul!

Now Marmite is the pits!!!!

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. :) I still love a good crusty white roll with butter (not marg!) and a good whack of vegemite. Or multigrain bread toasted with melted butter and vegemite swirled through. Health food of a nation! lol

I'm planning on Savannah, Georgia late this year. Can't wait! :D

Visit my son when you are there. Why are you going to Savanna? Ever been? Humidity will kick your ass in teh summer and late fall. BUt OCT NOV is pretty nice, Dec can be too.

Truth be told, I've never had Vegamite, so I guess I shouldn't be putting it down. Cream cheese, Avocado sounds pretty good though.

Not everyone likes the ol vegemite. It's bitey and a bit salty. We all love it in my family.

Plannin downtime with DB in Savannah.

I figured it would be better then, temp wise. I want to avoid the manic Thanksgiving travellers, too.

The temps are already taking off there!

Well, Tell DB I said "Hey" I hear it's a nice town, For a GI Tow. I've never been there. Passed through on I 95 ( Highway that runs through it). I'm sure you'll have a ball.

Savannah is beautiful (if you stay in the right part of town) :)

Marmite?

Marmites are little fuzzy critters about as big as a Koala but walks on all fours and lives in burros. The hole not the animal.

Weeeeeeell...

Had to drive over the mountains to a management meeting yesterday. Car was wobbling so I tried all night to contact the Director for a lift. Got to where I used to work at 5.30 am to cadge a lift to Canberra to borrow ex's car (he's pretty cool, that way). Everyone going to wrong end of city, so couldn't get there and back in time. No way I cold miss this meeting, so I head down in my car. Bloody terrified. I literally was rattling my teeth. Went slow and pulled over to let people pass. Nearly stacked it on the coast. Finally got to the meeting, late. Got it to a tyre specialist during a break, cos I was convinced the wheels were out of alignment. He says, 'We'll see, it sounds like more'. I go back to the meeting, dreading the news. When I ring him he says 'your alignment was out, but your tyre had to be replaced'.
He showed me the bloody tyre. It looked perfect on the car. There's hardly any wear at all. But when you looked inside there were 2 bubbles. The air was trapped between the layers of the tyre. It's not a retread, either. I bought it new about 14months ago. Apparently it wasn't used but was old stock. he said the age caused it. It was made before 2003! I had checked all my tyres cos I thought I'd had a flat, to start with. Those bubbles meant that it wasn't gripping the road.

It was a much better trip home!!!!!

Tuesday Bump...

Hi Doc!

Howya doin?

It's bloody cold here atm.

I'm feelin pretty happy with the world, tho. Splurged on a huge t-bone. Pan fried in olive oil and with steamed carrot, broccoli, cauliflower and snowpeas.

Life is good, :D

Sounds like it. I spent the evening as a ring judge at our Regimental Boxing Tournament. Some good fights some not so good fights.

The t-bone sounds good Triske, one of those and a beer would be nice. Settling for a Microwaved piece of Popeye's chicken ( two days old) and a beer.
