On KAF ( Kandahar Air field) The Canadians had a Hockey rink set up, manly roller Hockey.

Is anyone using it? They used to have some great games there. Last mission is headed over.

Have been researching old bottles. One was dead easy, helped by an old chemists label. One little fella held 'lemonade crystals' and has a mark that isn't in any of the lists. 2 others are handblown into a mould and are pretty cool with little bubbles. I haven't even started on the others. There's a whole world of avid bottle collectors out there!!!! It's all very obsessive!

I decided after braving the boggy tip with garden waste that I deserved a treat. Got some wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. Bring them home and can't find one small dish to put my chilli sauce in. (their's was too bland) I swear I had lots of those sorta things. Wheretf have they all gone??? Flickin pixies loose in the kitchen?

Finally put some in a port glass. That's just plain wrong. But needs must.

Need to frisk the cherubs.

How have you been Trisk? How's the Job going, find a use for that hyper kid? I'd think a Rocks glass would have worked better than a Port one. Gotta keep an eye on the kids when they move out, then again, frisk them every time they come over. Make them clap their hands when you leave the room so that you know what they are doing until you come back. My old supply SGT used to make us do that if he had to leave the supply room when we were younger and had sticky fingers.

Yup. Haven't had any for yonks. We were talking about them last Wednesday and, of course, I've been wanting some since then. I loooooooooves a good sweet chilli sauce. On really cheesy hotdogs, too.

Jobs chugging along. Been spending far to long there. Our end of financial year is today.

That character is off work for about 6 weeks with tendonitis. It's a relief really. He's high maintenance, that one. Disruptive. And wriggly in and around the system, y'know. It's interesting that he's so time consuming and the special needs lass that I fretted over is fitting in so well. She's capable of so much more than her family thinks she is. It's doing them all good that she's achieving so much.

Fuck, I hate those people. In general I should say. There are a couple good ones I've met, but few and far between. They have been taken over by their insane factions. Like killing rabid dogs.

I will keep visions of the wild red Trisk and the others in my head. Makes the days pass easier and gives me stuff to write about. Every man needs his fantasy. I am lucky to have quite a few!!! Belive me, It's gunna really suck because I don't have the Canadian and Aussie lassies to look at. They always send their hottest. Know any that are going to be over there JUL-Apr? Hook a brother up!!!

I find it extremely ironic that when we were in the dark ages and further oppressed by the inquisition all the knowledge and science was kept safe by the muslim countries, cities and enclaves. Safe from our own rabid priests and bigots. The Persians and Spanish Moors, for example, were great philosophers and scientists, with strong aesthetics. How such narrow minded thinking, mysogynism, cruelty and intolerance could take hold so strongly amongt these same people is beyond comprehension.

Please don't write them all off, Ox. We got through and only because a few rose to the top to fight for change, even against entrenched opinion. The Taliban are nothing short of murderous thugs using religion as an excuse. There's a sweet young muslim boy here. He's a good hard worker and true to his religion. He doesn't pray on a mat 6 times a day but he doesn't drink, is polite and charitable and lives simply. After initial shyness in talking to women he's now fine and relaxed.

My friends are back now. Came back safely last month.
