No that is ALONG way from here. The train here isn't even running the last few years and it is just a passenger train. We hope it is back by next year as it is a great way to see the Island and get to my brothers.

I love travelling by train. Well, as long as fellow passengers aren't obnoxious. Mostly they're great.

No train to my little town. It was supposed to get here. We even have a Station Street, in anticipation.

We've had a couple more landslides on the mountain. They've managed to keep one lane open, for school holiday traffic, until Thursday when it was fully opened.

None of us locals trust it, though. How no vehicle has been caught up in these is beyond lucky! And we're having more rain over the next week. The road will be closed, again, from Tuesday to Thursday each week after the holidays finish on Sunday.

Who knows when life will return to normal.

Hey, Doc? Feel like a dip and a drink?

Maybe the Goddess can tell me about the strip clubs in her corner of the world? *whispers* You know I've never been to one. Shhhh!

I hope Ox is setting in, in his temp digs. Getting intimate with fine sand has it's challenges.

Rosie Girl! Where be ye?????? :rose::kiss:

*Turns it on High*

Thank You!!!!

Things are really weird here! It's supposed to be 18c here, tomorrow!

Then returning to normal, midwinter temps. Everything is schizo - birds, trees and animals. Had the birds thinking it was spring a week ago. The deciduous trees threw buds.

I am going to need you to translate that temperature...I forgot Metric a long time ago...:D

Hey all. Yeah I'm setteling in. Got a plt plus of Aussies out here with me. No busty red heads though.

Dry and dusty as it should be. Great food. Probably the best chow hall in the AO. Drove around a bit today. This place needs an oasis by God. Belly dancers and all.
There are some very robust African girls here. Very anxious to please the big man. There may be a fantasy or two written soon. But I'll think of one about an Ivory skinned Digger-et, that has angel kissed freckles and copper red hair. And tits as big as yer head.

Happy B Dy DB.

I do like trains Goddess.
And I haven't forgot about raven haired, Blue eyed, free spirits. With tits as big as your head either.

I'll try to remember.

I find it so odd that, after rejecting so many things British, the US stuck with the Imperial weight/temp measurement thingie.

We also like their boy bands :D

(Much better than One Direction)

Dear God in heaven! Please do not let my daughter hear you say that!!!!!!!

Pretty good. The bands are different. These are more 'bad boy'. My personal test is hearing them impromptu a capella, or even just unplugged, no matter what style.

My respect for the Sugar Babes went sky high after hearing them raw. Couldn't believe how great the vocals were. They knew their stuff.:)

it's funny how sometimes when you see a band in real life they suck, or you don't like the way they play your favorite song. There was a bar in Fayettville, NC called teh Flaming mug that I frequented my first tour back in '88. They had the older bands in, Uriah Heap, Motor head, Joan Jett played there once. And some great little bands. I'd drink beer and hang out. Good times.

Vids and cds are great, but there's no way they can give that feeling of seeing artists live. The best they can do is remind you of it after you've been there.

Joan Jett would have been a hoot!

It's great that you have internet access, Ox. :D

Which version of Sugababes? :D

Thanks Ox. Tunnels and trains are a good thing. Saw a bunch of Deuce Coupes at our Deuce Days. 1,000 cars register and many were 32 Deuce Coupe. Vic Edelbrock and his family here and brought up three of there Coupe for the show. Sun, cars and some good Rock and Roll playing.

We saw Nazareth Sat. July 6 and Dan McCafferty sang great. Few days later he collapsed on stage from breathing trouble and the rest of the tour had to be cancelled.
