Does anyone else have trouble coming up with good taboo situations, even if you enjoy reading certain ones?

(On a separate note, I do have one non-incest story that's pretty much complete but I've been hesitant to post, in which a guy goes to use a time machine to try out having sex with himself, but before he gets there he's grabbed and raped, unwittingly finding it pleasurable it despite being forced. Eventually the rapist is revealed to be his future self, who had, of course, been on the receiving end just before going through the time machine, and therefore knew he'd enjoy it. The reason I've been hesitant to post it is because I didn't necessarily set out to write a rape fantasy when I started, and I question whether the future self's knowledge of the past self's enjoyment it is enough ethical justification to make it not violate my own "no non-con" rule. Then again, perhaps I should just stop overthinking and post it anyway. Either way, the time machine scenario was the original premise of the story that ended up playing out with those other elements, rather than a gimmick to justify them.)

early on in my career here, I had an idea for a Father / Daughter incest story that starts out with dad having to tale care of his daughter after a car accident leaves her temporarily immobilised.

What I DIDN'T want was some creepy ass story of a father grooming his daughter. I also didn't want the typical "slutty" daughter who seduces dad for no reason other than sex needs to happen.

And so I built a backstory where the mom had died of cancer. She was dad's one true love and he hasn't dated since because he believes no one could ever replace her.

His daughter of course reminds him of his late wife, but he's never thought of her in a sexual way until put into the position of having to bathe her.

it escalates from there, with him struggling with his conflicting feelings while she's simultaneously struggling with the embarrassment of the situation yet noticing her father's reaction to her.

I think ultimately I managed to write the story in such a way that it played less as a father taking advantage of his daughter and more two sad people dealing with loss and finding a shared connection.

I haven't bothered writing much incest since because I feel it's my best effort at it and anything id try again would be an inferior rehash.

I did one with triplets. The son/brother went away for a while (school or something). The two daughters/sisters stayed home and had all sorts of fun with Mom and Dad.

When the son/brother came home, the plan was to introduce him to the action. The girls were first and got him on board, but Mom was getting impatient and their slow progress in getting him with her. Lots of skimpy bikini time for Mom trying to tempt him.

They ended up having him catch the three of them in action.
