It's question time again. This is an easy question to answer, as I know you are still very busy with yesterday's one!

Pets! Are you a dog or cat person? Fish or reptile? No pets at all? What do you think your choice says about you? Are you judge-y about other folks’ pet preferences? Have fun!

I'm a dog lover! I have grown up with a cat and a dog or two in the house. We have had 7 dogs in that time. When I was younger I brought home from school stick insects to look after in the holidays. In the next school, in my lunch hour I use to look after mice and gerbils. The black gerbils were very nerves one.

I'm strongly allergic to cats and, to a lesser extent, dogs. Cats seem to like me, although I'm suspicious of their motives. They make a point of ambling over to me and rubbing their fur against me, so that the dander flies up and starts me sneezing. Once that mission is complete, they amble off again. Dogs, on the other hand, like my warmth and my ball-throwing abilities. I seem to accumulate a lot of drool from my encounters with dogs which, once again, sets my eyes streaming, my nose running and the washing machine spinning soon afterwards.

Given my incompatibility with furry pets, I've had to make do with tropical fish instead. Stupid things! I reckon that an Angelfish is one of the most moronic and aggressive creatures in existence (alongside a few Litsters). Our Angelfish tried to eat another fish in the tank, but misjudged its size and ended up with the other fish stuck in its mouth, protruding out and preventing it from consuming anything else (reminding me of the scene in The Simpsons in which Homer gets his arm stuck in a vending machine because he doesn't think of letting go of the can that he's trying to retrieve).

In terms of the animal that best describes me, my Chinese horoscope shows me to be a Snake. I can't argue with that.

I'm not a cat person, although I like them okay and have had one or two. I just take exception to something that thinks it's okay to walk on my kitchen counters and tables and knock things off onto the floor. I am definitely a dog person though. (there's that warm, honest, open and loving thing again) My current one is a happy, funny little guy who makes me smile all the time and who is a world class snuggler.

Dog for me, i also have Koi, and a scratchy fucker cat, personally i don't like cats but this one has chosen me as its fav. >

Oh, sweetie. Try to have fun with it. Don't put pressure on yourself to buy everything in one day. If nothing else, you can get one outfit, then uses the sized to buy the rest online.

Currently have no pets. In previous years, it was because the apartment complex I lived in wanted to charge an exorbitant amount of money for them. Currently, it's because I want to be home more first.

We are still deciding between a dog or cat. I am good either way although I have a feeling I will be the one taking care of it.

I don't know that I could pick a favorite username, but a few are Mindfondler, TheAnimalWithin, AbsintheFather, etc. I like usernames where it is clear the person spent some time thinking about it (doesn't have random numbers attached), but it doesn't require me to spend a great deal of time trying to decipher it's meaning.

Favorite thread title? I don't know. I'll have to think on that one.

The funny usernames always catch my eye. HornyJunkMail--that one gives me the giggles. GimpyIntellect. IHateClowns. ....and yes I've talked to all of them, with varying results.

The girls... I like the triad of ViciousTease, EndlessNight, and CollarNCuffs... all real words! Assembled into phrases. Nice jobs, girls. Plus they hang out together which is super cute.

I always laugh at the handles a la BigDaddy694U ... then there's that new one AnalCreamPieLover or something?! Lol. Points for phraseology.

Gotta love a username that references music. CatherineWheel77 ... Sugaree, who's never around anymore. She should totally sell her handle to me.

I don't understand the negative sounding names. Starting a nic with "Lonely" or "Frustrated" seems like ... an interesting statement to make.

I am drawing blanks on faves for some reason, but I know which threads I hate the most: those with typos in the title. They have to be really compelling for me not to blow them off.

And in the "different strokes..." category, the handle "analcreampiegiver" grosses me out. There have been a few like that over time. They may be good folks, but ewww

For me, it's not so much "ewww" as the overriding thought that they're a bit of a one trick pony. I wouldn't seek their views on many wider topics, and even for those I'd insist that they wash their hands first.

Some of them do crack me up. When I first joined there was a poster 'bjgobblecock' that I thought was funny. I get a kick out of 'ElmoLincoln'. There are a number of one-hit-wonder threads that have had great names or resulted in great hijackings too.

Out of this bunch, I think Yda's got a very creative and good one.

On thread titles, I like ydahecnot's "What are you thinking an hour from now?" thread for its post-ironic qualities in the light of all of the other "What are you... ?" threads. I have posted in it a few times, but I'm probably getting ahead of myself there.
